Brother John, I found a great resource on Zero hedge called compare silver prices dot com. I takes the live price feeds from the largest dealers in the country that post their buy and sell prices on gold and silver bullion. Have you seen it? Looks like maybe tf metals or zero hege owns it.
Here it is my theory:manipulators are worry about the silver price in term of producer's currencies, you may not notice but silver price it "stuck" to peso/dlls ratio.
When silver goes up..peso against dollar goes down (peso revaluation) so in pesos, silver price has been stable for a while, I have seen this patter for so long and I would bet is the same for Peru, Australia and other silver producer's currencies and since Fed has a lot swap currencies so they can get cheap silver all the time.
Also how do you guarantee generic is real silver think you will have problems selling them even if silver hits a high price. I am not totally sold that silver will slam to $1000 and be the end all for currency issues.
I think it is funny people think spot generic is way to go. Took me about Month to figure out I prefer numismatic government coins. Sold off plain and picked up Grizzly heck I even sold some Maples because I wanted limited vintage.
You know that basically all of our founding fathers had an allegiance to free masonry which was located in the city of London. You might also notice, and since you're a lawyer, you know that the yellow fringe or border on the US flag means that British maritime law prevails. It is in every courthouse and on every US military uniform. It is not merely decorative.
Brother John, Thanks for bringing the b. o. r. into the conversation. please also reflect on the word "Republic" and the word "democracy" so people will understand why we are heading down the road we are on. It is very important to understand the definition of each of them. long liv the "Republic" please continue to help people to understand what we have neglected and are losing. thanks agian for your time. vote Ron Paul
I have found that "Bullion Direct" is a great place to purchase mainly by using their "NUCLEO" exchange, where you can bid on all types of bars and rounds. I admit I am new to this market, but so far I have purchased at lower prices than anywhere I have checked, and have it in my hand in less than a month. By the way Mr. Brother John, REALLY love your input here, great channel, thanks.
Thank you breaking down the reality of the dire situation our Government had put us in. People need to see this type of stuff on a daily. Too much foot ball and government BS news organisations. I made a crappy video about police power and how its used to pay bill at the police station, no one watched it. Meh.
@madbob73. uh...no...actually its not a double play. If I buy 100 generic silver rounds for $3500 (@$35/round), you would be able to purchase 92 numismatic silver rounds for that same $3500 (@$38/round). When silver reaches $1000/oz I can sell mine for $100000 (100x $1000) while you will only get $92000 (92x $1000). How is that a double play? This assumes we would both only get spot price which seems likely at those prices.
BrotherJohn - Go back and look closer at that Scottsdale Omnia round - it is one ounce and they sell them in tubes of 20 - it's not a bulky 20 ounce round - they are one ounce rounds sold in tubes of 20.
Hey Brother John, the Scottsdale rounds are 1 oz rounds. The "20 oz" you read, means they only sell it in tubes of 20, not in orders smaller than that. I own several hundred of them, so I can vouch: they are one oz rounds. The design is superb, but the only thing I don't like about them is that their edges aren't notched. Maybe they've changed that...just wanted you to know that they don't sell 20 oz rounds. :) Keep up the good work!
Gold would have to be at $16,000.00 an ounce and silver correcting to a 16:1 ratio in price for silver to hit $1000.00 an ounce. At the current ratio (51.5:1 approx) Gold would have to be pricing at $87,550.00 an ounce. I can only foresee that happening in a hyper-inflationary scenario.
BrotherJohnF, you are way too gracious for allowing Cyrus992 to shamelessly promote his stuff on your channel as video responses, though his "responses" are always older than your videos and never have anything to do with the subject of your video.
Second Amendment protects the right of the PEOPLE to keep and bear arms. The first clause is just reason, not the protected right. "A well-educated electorate, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and read books shall not be infringed" wouldn't mean that only college graduates could keep books any more than the Second Amendment means that only state militias can keep and bear arms.
I just got the 10oz Year of the Dragon coin. The coin being this large, the details really stand out. It is a beautiful piece and very well suited to put on display in your house. The perfect gift for the wife to make her feel better about investing in silver.
BrotherJohn...The scottsdale 20 oz.....Would that actually be 20 x 1 oz rounds? Hence the (Pack tube of 20), just under the title.....I really enjoy your vids. Peace
In 1871 Act "The Constitution FOR the united states of America" was altered to ".The Constitution OF the united states of America" and that is the constitution for USA Corporate Government. Bill of Rights does not apply to corporate government constitution. and we are just 'chattels' belonging to the corporation.
Mike Maloney has always advised against numismatics, if you are going to buy coins the generic 1oz coins are a safer bet, although the bars are much better value for money
I wonder about the numismatics also, since premiums are for, essentially, artwork in silver.
If the artwork of a Fiji Taku were in steel, aluminum or titanium I'm not sure it would be worth an extra 2% over melt value, if that.
Art has value, like paintings, sculptures or animation cells, & these may hold/gain value better than numismatics. Generic silver rounds may yield same result.
Fiji Taku's look nice, & Canadian wolves, just saying, depends what market will bear.
I used Apmex for years but their premiums have been getting too high. Now using Westminster Mint, one of the cheapest around nut you may have to wait a bit longer for possession. coin-rare com hope this helps
. The Omnia 1-oz silver bullion round is our tribute to the classic design. Instead of being hand-struck like the originals, each Scottsdale Silver Omnia round is precision struck and features the iconic Scottsdale lion on the front face and a cob-era cross on the reverse. The Latin phrase on the back translates to "Prepared for all things." As always, minted proudly in the USA. Shipped in tubes/packs of 20 silver rounds. .999 Pure Silver Bullion
continued...when I bought some junk silver when silver was at $46 recently there were Brilliant Uncirculated and proof coins from including Franklin halves and olderI Washington quarters. Their premiums had vanished and they ended up in junk silver bags. The dealer didn't bother pulling them out. Similarly at some price point numismatics will become the new "junk" silver.
In general I enjoy your videos. But I don't understand how those numismatics are going to pay off. If/when silver hits $1000/oz as you predict, you'd have to cash them in at something like $1100 just to break even. I don't think anyone will pay the extra $100. You willhave been better off justin getting a generic round for $1.50 over spot. Case in point, when I bought some "junk" silver wheb
please brother john -explain why one would be more likely to still have them -do you mean that some one who owns one will not easily part with the coin ?
@KonaChuck22 It's a double play isn't it? If Silver hits $1000/oz you win anyway, if Silver stays around what you paid you have as second shot at the numis value for not much initial outlay above a generic round. I'm amazed people struggle to come to terms with this concept.
It depends on the person. If you are someone that is relatively likely to lose his job and be forced to sell silver, you might consider numismatics, because they tend to keep their (collectors) value, even when the price drops (on the short term), or gain more in value than bullion. But if you are relatively certain you won't be forced to sell your silver soon, it would indeed be better to get bullion coins.
Scottsdale round is a 1oz. It's sold in 20oz tube. Title is misleading, but clarification is in paragraph. Threw me off also at first. They look great in person. Best prices I've found so far is at Liberty Coin and Precious Metals. Platinum and palladium also. And if they dont have it in stock or on the website, they'll order it for you. Not getting paid or anything, just trying to help fellow stackers find best prices. Thanks for the updates. Much appreciated.
