You need some drill collars to add weight and make it go faster. I have one that mounts on a three point hitch and runs off the hydrolics on the tractor. I have drilled 75 feet with it. It would go further if I had better drill stems that had better heavier threads on them that would not twist off.
thanks, its a lot of fun running it, I just sold it on ebay, since I had no more use for it. worked very well for me, I think if I ever made another one, I might speed the rpms on the drill a little higher, was only turning about 60 rpm, cuts but slow in the hard stuff.
