one of my favoiret dream matches a will like to have is bret hart vs jeff hardy vs the rock who will win post votes in comments a.jeff hardy b.bret hart c. the rock or d.nobody
I can't believe people are arguing over Triple H's placement in wrestling when you're watching a classic match take place, that was put together by very powerful storyline. Triple H is a wrestling fraud - he has 14 world championships, but most of those reigns came during an era where the WWE had 2 World Titles, after they merged the WCW & WWF Title in 2001? They brought back the big Gold belt and just gave it to Triple H without the WWE having 2 World belts, his # of reigns would be like 5
Watching this, you really realise how brilliant Owen was. I started watching wrestling around about the time Owen died and never really got to appreciate him, then I started watching these old matches and became a massive fan of Bret. But watching this, you realise just how good Owen actually is. His character runs through every single action he does in the ring. I'd be shocked if, were it not for the accident, he didn't become champion and a Hall of Famer. RIP Owen.
@kasininkasLT The World Wide Fund for Nature also went by the initials WWF and they sued McMahon and the company for violating an agreement that limited the permissible use of the WWF initials overseas, mostly with merchandise. I hope that helps
My top 10 is for the last 20 years. An alltime list would include Hogan and Flair, possibly Steamboat and Savage. Perhaps even Terry Funk. 1)Austin 2)Bret Hart 3)Undertaker 4)Sting 5)HBK 6)Rock 7)Angle 8)Jericho 9)Guererro 10)Owen Hart I heard that Sting's TNA contract is almost up. I sure hope he does a quick round of WWE. Sting v. Taker=dream match @ WM26
@TheSchwab29 HHH...You are either a troll or a retard. Fuck off you fucking faggot and go make your own gay list, mine will most certainly be better, because you are a doucher faggot who knows shit about life, let alone wrestling.
HHH pre-2001, not bad, but not top 10, fucking moron.
@MAJS444 not bad? god ur dumb. he has 14 world titles. more than anyone else in the era that your list is from. all i wanna know is what is your personal beef with HHH? r u a foley fan still bitter about the hell in a cell win that ended cactus' career. no knowledgeable wrestling fan wheather they like hunter or not could leave him off that list.
@canadiancountryboy94 give me a good reason how he could be. 14 world titles, nobody else in the era in question can touch that. not michaels, not the rock, not stone cold. hands down HHH was the most dominate guy in the attitude era. stone cold might have been most popular but dominance goes to HHH
@TheSchwab29 ITS AN OPINION!!! ur opinion is that hhh is good. yes i agree then he was dominant but he slept his way to the top got himself on the booking commitie... if he hadnt he prolly wouldnt have won a single title
@canadiancountryboy94 it is an opinion. and you are entitled to it. but my point is to call yourself a wrestling fan HHH must be on that list somewhere, maybe not number 1, but somewhere. its like leavin Gretzky off the best hockey player list or Jordan off the best basketball player list. BTW HHH is getting another title run as soon as he returns, thats y sheamus won at the fatal 4 way PPV.
@TheSchwab29 i dont watch wwe anymore... its shit the story lines suck, the talent sucks. yes i agree HHH is a good wrestler but compairing him too wayne gretzky? thats not even close he came into the nhl a rookie and DESTROYED all the records. on the bret hart wrester scale id give HHH a 22-25/30 meaning there is 3 things that make a wrestler the look, mic skill and ring skills. HHH has thelook and mic skill ring skill... not so much
@TheSchwab29 HHH to wrestling = Jordan to basketball? No. Not even close. He may have more accolades but I have to believe part of that is competing in an era where titles change hands constantly, and part of that is being the boss' son-in-law. He is a great athlete and a good wrestler and I'm not into all the HHH bashing but I don't think he's in my top ten either. Flair, Micheals, Steamboat, Hart, Austin, Bret Hart and The Undertaker all clearly deserve to be ahead of him, imo
@wrestlewes Very wise words. I would put guys like Perfect and Rude above him too. I preferred watching him work when he had his Hunter Hearst Helmesley gimmick.
@MAJS444 I think Flair has to be included, even in just the last 20 years. He had some legendary battles with Steamboat, Vader, Sting, and Luger in the early 90's before the orange goblin came to change the face of WCW forever.
@wrestlewes --Flair in the top 10 of the last 20 years? It's tough, his legendard feud with Steamboat was 21 years ago, but I guess I made that list around a year ago. Flair is one of my all time favourite wrestlers, so I can hear what you are saying, he probably should be there if I think about the year he had in 1989 and include that.
If I don't include 1989, he might still be there, he had good feuds with Sting, Vader, Savage, etc.
@focusandcreate--Austin was a way better on the mic (a point Bret would also concede). I mean, it`s a tough one, so I basically take three factors: 1)In-ring ability 2)Mic work 3)Impact.
Austin was not a better in ring wrestler than Bret (his prime as a wrestler had passed as his prime as a star ascended). Austin however was way better on the mic, and Austin had the biggest impact on the business since Hulk Hogan, so I stand by my list.
No Hulk Hogan is the best ever -.-! 1. Hulk Hogan 2.Steve Austin 3.The Rock 4.Ric Flair 5.Bruno sanmartino 6.Bret Hart 7.HBK 8.Undertaker 9.Randy Savage 10.Triple H
I like your list Mines would be this 1.Ric Flair 2.Hulk Hogan 3.Undertaker 4.Bret Hart 5. Mr Perfect. 6. Kurt Angle 7. Steve Austin 8. HBK 9. Chris Jericho 10. The Rock
Who is Owen and who is Bret?

Heh, as much as I miss that cage I can't believe how small it was in comparison to the WCW/NWA cages.
Hell, Kevin Nash was able to prop his hands at the very TOP of this damn thing. Shows you how small the cage was.

Except Austin...who destroyed a company and made another into a billion dollar monopoly.
kanibas1 2 years ago
You think it is good for wrestling for Vince to have a monopoly.
Paisnaiter 2 years ago
Explain how Austin destroyed a company. If you are talking about WCW, that makes you a retard, because WCW destroyed itself.
If you think Austin alone made WWE a billion dollar monopoly, again, you are a retard, because WWE was already a billion dollar company.
Shitty WCW plots (thanks a bunch, Vince Russo) and management made WWE a monopoly, not Austin.
Austin=biggest star in wrestling history.
Get over it hater.
