I understand that whole part, but that was like 20 years ago. During that age, college kids get uppity, revolutionary, and sometimes angry at society when they learn whats really going on out there. It is also common among minorities to go through stages of anger, hate, resentment, sadness, and denial when they come of age and learn about political sciences, sociology, real history, and economics.

You deregulate economic industries in our kind of culture of greed, you will have people getting exploited like DOW chemical, AIG, Enron, and Freddie Mac all did. So, big companies team up with big government to limit competition and to give an unfair advantage to the biggest companies. You assume that the people in government are not greedy and selfish like those in business. Of course they are - they want power and money.
