@Venix9999 Most of the actual pictures of these objects are so far away that this is the best quality we have so far. The New Horizons probe is set to pass Pluto in 2014-2015 so we should have some high-quality images then. Sorry :P

@Glennfalconi Actually there are a few reasons Pluto was "demoted", even ignoring "size" and "elliptical orbit"...

1) It has more in common with other TNOs than with other 'classes' of planet (gas giants and terrestrials).

2) If you brought Pluto into the inner solar system, it would form a tail like a comet, which is very un-planet-like!

3) If Pluto is a planet, how many other TNOs become planets? There are possibly thousands of these objects in the Kuiper Belt - where do you draw the line?

This suggests that items in the Asteroid Belt (between Mars & Jupiter) are also Trans-Neptunian Objects? Ceres, Pallas and Vesta are in the Asteroid Belt, much closer than and far away from Neptune! Author needs more research.

This video gave me goosebumps, especially when you came to Sedna. I've lately had a new fascination for 'TNO's'. Just to think that Sedna is three times as distant from the sun is mind boggling, especially when the size of our own planet is inconceivable. I can't wait until New Horizons gets to Pluto. Expecting disappointment in finding nothing, but I'm still interested in photographs.
