In the '90 a friend gets a CD from Nanna Mouskouri. I don't know the name but possible is something like'the best of Nanna Mouskouri. Where can i found a list from here cd's of Lp's. Thank you very much.
Nana was at Her best in the 80-ths.when She make Her album CLASSICAL. Her voice was so mature, clear and You can understand that Her Classical studies in music had been a good help for Nanas "troubling cords" to hold on! Love from PIM
We LOVE Her inner beauty and kindness! She always had expressed so human feelings,so deep spirituality in so many ways...Her voice had always been "different every Concert"-more or less. In fact that She have an expressionistical heart and soul,Her and every humans shape, normally will be growing up and bee different when the times goes on.
I went to her concert in Melbourne two years ago. She didn't have the pure tone that she had when she was younger(who does?) but it was great to see her. She is a true entertainer and I love her.
i seen nana on her last uk show in Birmingham her voice was a little shakey at first but soon warmed up dont forget she is a big age now ,but she sing from the hart with so much feeling i have loved her sining since i heard here on the radio in Greece when i was a young boy on holiday with my parents and i asked my dad to ask the waiter who was that singing i haved loved her since.
Shes been singing for many decades, of course her voice is going to change. Its part of life. Lets not be so critical. Just enjoy the art of her singing.
I went to her farewell tour in Gateshead and she was awesome. Yes, her voice gave up at times, but her presence was so strong. Perhaps this is something that cannot come through so well in a video. She was beautiful and the audience loved her. Once she realised she was safe with us, she warmed up and incredible power came through. She gives all of herself into everything she sings. She got about 5 standing ovations at the end. As far as I am concerned, she is a true star and always will be.
Nana's voive changes from time to time. If you listen to her singing the night she received the Stimmel in Germany, a week ago, her voice sounded beautiful... If she couldn't sing at all, I would still go to her Farewell tour... Lucky you! probably she won't come to my country =(
This is truly amazing and weird at the same time. This is a folk song that refers to the indepence War from the Turks since 1821. A mortally wounded captain expresses his last wish orders his exhausted soldiers after the battle not to tell his family that he was killed, instead that he got married and is happy. To spread such a song around the world is a real honour to her homeland, I believe.
I wish someone would put the clip up of Nana' doing only love on The Paul de Leeuw show. Yes her voice is quite fragile these days. And i'm quite glad i decided not to go to her concert this year but her performance on paul de leeuw gave me the chills (in a good way!!).And i think that after all she has done over the years she should have gotten a bit more respect from paul...
She is just wonderful and her voice has changed, it's true, but I even like it more. The song's name is not the once said above but it is E efhi and it is the last son in her new greek album called Moni perpato.
she doesn't sing as well as she used to sing before BUT she's still being the best singer ever and I adore her!!! This song is awesome, from her newest Greek album and the name of the song is TA PEDIA TIS SAMARINAS! thanks for uploading this!
i, too have noticed her voice is not as strong as it was. I have lots of her CD's and listen to them constantly. Her latest album, i'll remember you while still very good was a dissapoinytment

I think part of the problem is that the sound quality is not what it should or could be.
