@schhosch This specific hitch will not fit a 2005 Acura MDX. If you go to etrailer(dot)com and enter the year, make, and model of your vehicle into our fitguide, you will find all of the hitches that will fit on your 05 MDX, and there are videos of those being installed, which will probably help you more than this video will.

Great video - very helpful. We have replaced the space saver spare with a full size spare tire. Does this mean we have to switch back to our space saver spare tire or are you saying we cannot carry any spare? Thanks very much!

@SeekerAHz You should be able to re-install the full size spare tire back into position once you are done installing the hitch. You may need to adjust where it is a bit, but it should be able to go back in place.

I have a question how much weight can a 2005 Acura tl hull?? Max weight I mean??

@skavenger4130 That information should be in your owner's manual or you can contact the dealer and they should be able to help you figure out what your maximum gross towing weight and tongue weight are for your vehicle.

Are these holes on all models of the 2007 Acura or will the installer have to create holes?

@Jdakota The holes in the frame are from the factory, so all 2007 Acura MDXs will have the 8 mounting holes. Custom hitches are designed to use as many pre-drilled holes in the vehicles frame to minimize the amount of drilling for the installaer. In this case, no further holes need to be drilled. The same will go for your MDX.
