Quite honestly, both versions of Kenichi are just as bad. Its just harder to tell bad Japanese voice acting because you can't friggin' understand what they're saying so you hone in on their syntax, emotional inflections. So it only seems that the sub has better, more emotional acting. It's all you can decipher as your brain tries to figure out what the heck they're saying.
tl;dr version: The real superior version is the manga. Make up the voices in your head.

Quite honestly, both versions of Kenichi are just as bad. Its just harder to tell bad Japanese voice acting because you can't friggin' understand what they're saying so you hone in on their syntax, emotional inflections. So it only seems that the sub has better, more emotional acting. It's all you can decipher as your brain tries to figure out what the heck they're saying.
tl;dr version: The real superior version is the manga. Make up the voices in your head.

Knowing the name of english voice actor's are fan's of the actors, not the anime itself.
