I have a question!! well, a few. If you wanted to make a video like this, could you take the footage off of YouTube? and if you can, how do you do that and how do you convert it to edit it (if you can convert it).

If you can't take it off of YouTube how can you use footage from the acutual movie? I've tried it but obviously there's the issue of infrigment, etc. etc. Yes, lots of questions, but I'd REaLLLY like to know! I'm dying to make a video :-)

@holasweety2 you can extract flash (.flv) from youtube and then convert it to an uncompressed format for editing. But by the time you've uncompressed (for editing) and then recompressed (for distributing) the video, if you don't have a high enough quality source then the final output will be bad video quality. The highest source I'd use would be from an original dvd, but Youtube is so far down the quality chain I wouldn't touch it as a source. A good guide: animemusicvideos[.]org/guides/­avtech3

I dunno...he's pretty popular.

Not saying that it's not deserved...but the fact that he's Canadian plus that his genre of "hip hop" is very different than most mainstream hip hop...I think he's done pretty well for himself considering everything. Tons of fans, and tons of playtime too.

Lol I dunno...he gets play on our alt rock stations (102.1), mainstream stations (103.5), urban stations (93.5). He's never gonna be the biggest name in any of those "genres", but he's a pretty big player.
