  • Sounds like one I tried at Costco.

    Just kidding. Great job.

  • fea tu wea

  • Not bad for no pickups

  • At first i was like awesome, you're using one of those bridge pickup system things, but it just doesnt have pickups haha. Still cool though.

  • what make are those pickups they look really rear

  • when or if u make the hole thingy are u gonna consider getting an acoustick pickup? that would be pretty sick

  • where'd you get the neck?

  • i read the descriotion but how did you give it sound without a sound hole

  • @Revolution0629 The sound hole of a guitar doesn't create the sound, it just makes it louder.

  • nice body finish

  • how did you do that?!!? coool

  • ok

  • sound little bit like ukulele :-? ..

  • Sounds just like dirty woman by White Lion.

  • 34 people are jealous

  • I highly doubt that he made that

  • @veity2698 why not?

  • Looks (and sounds) great! :)

  • how much?

  • no pickups dude

  • Sounds like it has some string action problems, hehe

  • 2 EMGs and that will be awesome.

  • @crime0dude No.

  • @Kingddd333 what no?:|

  • @crime0dude Meh just doesn't seem to fit his playing style but its your opinion

  • what pickups are you going for?

  • Read the description. Obviously he is missing something; it isn't finished yet.

  • no microphones, looks dull

  • don't you feel like you miss something man?? Just asking Bro!?

  • I think they sound so much better unplugged anyways. :D

Beautiful work, I think my dad used to make guitars too.

  • if the action is high, you can fix it, it's not really difficult, sounds great unplugged, but damn put some pickups to that instrument, god thank you, could you give me some tips to build a guitar? you know, like that?

  • A great job . What type of finish are you putting on after electronics installed?

  • Comment removed

  • Ima make my guitar out of mesquite haha

  • Must be a Stevie Ray Vaughan fan

  • No pickups-,-

  • @Raittarian

yeah, this is the sound it makes without them. sounds amazing for no pickups.

  • im surprised this actually has an amazing tone

  • it would be awsome with pickups! [ u should do a HSH config :) ]

  • The guitar body may be made at home. But the Bridge and the Arm of the Guitar was definatly bought somewhere...

  • @gilvan09 its called a guitar neck not an arm

  • @thepappness hahaha hes trying to put his two cents in and he dousnt even know the parts that make up a guitar

  • @CountCane1994 i know right

  • @thepappness Lol. I'm gonna start saying arm now. The head is the hand.

  • @Kirbymcbadass well if the neck is the arm and the headstock is the hand then whats the body? haha

  • @thepappness The chest.

  • @gilvan09 fail.

  • yes!

  • I wish I knew how to make my own guitar! If I knew how, I would!

  • wow! that looks almost just like mine, only I used old used parts from ebay! It is a real challenge. Nice job.

  • She's a thing of beauty.

  • amazing sound

    bad look

  • great idea!

  • hahah love it

  • Wtf y would u make a solid body without pickups

  • where's the pickups?

    where's the jack?

  • @yooks5 i think this is an "acoustic guitar" ?

  • @Flachkopp2 so, where is the soundhole? hahaha.. i'm just kidding XD

  • @yooks5 Read the description you twat..

  • @yooks5 - It says acoustic Strat in the description, tool.

  • What song are you playing matey? Sounds great :-)

  • dude if your not gonna put pickups on it you really should had made some chambers and put some f holes in!! :)

i bet that would sound so awesome and it would make it lighter because oak is heavy as hell

  • nice video......guys if you want to make ELECTRIC AND BASS GUIATR IN ONE WEEK see my video.....watch?v=6W2a25a-giY

  • must sound nice being made out of old oak wood :)

  • I think u should test ur camera first

  • i love the pickups of that guitar :)

  • @oguhnarrabla Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr :-))

  • @oguhnarrabla not pickups

  • @oguhnarrabla it's a custom shop fender texas special dude.

  • cool!!!!! show me more!!!

  • what kind of wood do you usually use in the body of the guitar?

  • Name it a phoenix!

  • trippy. i like it.

  • que marca es? una gibson no?

  • @yagui046 tonto, es casera :-((

  • uy disculpame.. estaba jodiendo ajaj! muy bueno el animarte a hacer una guitarra! si haces la acustica te deseo mucha suerte!!!!..

  • u suck

  • its not an electric guitar without pickups

  • Why don't you dumb fucks read the description. "a rough shaped acoustic strat." Gosh some people are dumb asses.

  • I think you are off to a great start. What you should do next is learn enough about electronics to put in Humbuckers. Soldering is not the easiest thing but it is worth a try. I am still trying to get the hang of it and I know it will be worth the wasted money in parts in the end. When I finally get that perfect joint down to a science

  • There are no pickups.... He's not even plugged into anything

  • COOL RIFF :D

  • Why not ask the owner of the guitar if there is a pickup ? Instead you kids argue and argue about it? That's fucked up.

  • not bad ;)

  • I think it has a piezo pickup. If not, how would the sound be so clear without a microphone placed next to the strings? This leads to think there's a piezo and a not seen amp. That's just opinion.

  • acoustic sound i think

  • sounds like a uklelue

  • is there any pickups???

  • well do you se any pick ups on the guitar? nope, how about first watching the vid before asking stupid questions, and read the description.... it says it's acoustic!

  • @elemental0wnage- I hope you don't talk to people like that in person. Grow up.

  • @advilbrewer

hmm, i just had a good laugh when redig you comment, i was replying to the dumbass legoracerpenguin12... he's asking if there are any pickups... well if he can't look for himself and u support him, then your a dumbass, i hope ur not as retarted in real life as u are on internet

  • elementalownage- like lyricalpoet777 said, it could indeed have a piezo which could have been placed either in/by the fretboard or right next to the bridge, which could be hard to spot. We are left then only with the guy having not read the description. Personally, I read the descriptions, but often people don't if they are cruising through videos. Just admit it, your malice was misplaced. Have a good day.

  • easy. could have a piezo and u wouldn't know, wouldja?

  • wel this is a fucking home made gutair, other then that, look in the fucking description....IT SAYS.. ACOUSTIC!!!!

  • piezos give you full acoustic range and sound dumbass.

  • but there isnt any pickup one that guitar you fucking douche bag

  • piezos go inside. or under the bridge. ass

  • well if yo can't tell that this doesn't have a piezo then your an idiot, maybe you should consider getting an education, and also start learning a little english, because all the fucking information is i the description genius.

  • I know its doesnt, have one, but just cuz you cant see a pickup doesnt mean there isnt one.

  • I don't think he put any in yet. but still cool if he does, hope there seymour duncun metals

  • cool guitar how long did it take you??

  • It sounds like if all those strings were .009s.

  • with such a great unplugged sound, you should totally put a piezo element on it as well as magnetics. Piezo pickups on solid bodies are rreally good fun :D

  • that sounds fuckin amazing for being unplugged. I would have sworn it was plugged in if I didnt read the description. just awesome man.

  • @FordIsBetter

    there's no pickups yet lol

  • @FordIsBetter theres no pickups... how could it be plugged in

  • @TreyarchIsGay you can push the neck very hard towards a walnut wardrove and get it to resonate lol

  • guyz some people belowe must not understand that he said its an electric guitar he is building he all so said its a test so he must just be checking that it sounds right befor he paints it and forks out money on more parts

  • where are the pickups?

  • stupid....read the description.....he said its ACOUSTIC!

  • dumbass..

  • maybe with a synth pickup you could make like some sort of synth guitar I dont know

  • I see no pick ups, are you using a transducer or something of the like?

  • He's playing it acoustically.

  • unplugged FTFW!!!

  • sounds a bit honckey

  • Microphone sucks

  • @calvinblinkee Go read the description, it's not plugged in dickhead

  • @qdsqd So what? The microphone still sucks and so is the camera quality

  • @calvinblinkee yeah but still, do you really give a damn? :(

  • I'm not sure oak is a good wood to make guitars, due to it's resonant properties

  • Taylor guitars built a guitar out of old wood pallets to show that a guitar can be built from anything.

  • where did you bye your wood

  • read the description

  • lol no pick ups

  • beautiful dude.

    props

  • Oak ? cool, is it not heavy ?? I have wonderd how that should sound! :D

  • Cool. It sounds like a banjo.

  • did you buy the wood then carve it? If you Did where did you get it and how much?

  • Shit looks nice as fuck in that natural finish.

    Just something a bit different.

You should try and get pickups that match in colour. Would be fucking sweet as fucking fuck

  • you say fuck to fucking much

  • Why don't you have more frets? A seventh string?

  • nobody uses the 7 string and there a big waste of money

  • say that to steve vai

  • i use 7 string guitar, buddy. And it is not a big waste of money. It suits my style pretty much and I like it:) I m really happy with it

  • i dont know anything about music, what are frets?

  • Don't worry about it.

  • it's the space between the metal bars on the fret board. The Fret board is located on the neck which is attached to the guitar's body.

  • The guitar body is the biggest part of a guitar.

  • I thought it was the neck you know because of the frets... and inlays :)

  • is it?? woa i cant se that :D you cannot be serius!!

  • Where are the pick-ups?

  • maybe some wierd under saddle pickup

  • its an acoustic

  • good fretboard, just get some good pickups, i suggest a of P-90 (neil young's pickups)

  • u own!

  • haha no pick ups ^^ but any way good job on the body carving and other stuff

  • read the info

  • read the side thing ppl, he hasn't finished the guitar yet and has not added pickups, just testing if the neck and everything lines up before wasting the money on pickups for a shit guitar. seems ok tho i'm gonna check for a vid with the pickups in!

  • good job-would of been cool if you made the neck =)

  • did you use pick-ups on that guitar ?

  • dude you shoulda shapped it like a dick! what were you thinking making look all normal like a real guitar?

  • Probably "Hey, maybe it'd be pretty funny to make a guitar shaped like a penis! Wait, nah, probably better to shape it like a normal guitar so I get something I'll actually use instead of having it just be a joke. Also people would probably think I'm a retard if I made a penis guitar".

  • Good use of old music instruments, recycling ehh?

I think this rig will go fine as a funk guitar.

inspirational, interesting, and i want to make one, but thou i dont have the matterials or the tools :(

  • o.o sweet guitar.. but wers the pick ups.. the knobs :o

  • i believe that the pick up is in the bridge...it senses the vibrations and can virtually turn it into any sound...i could be wrong he might not be plugged in i cant tell.

  • He hasnt finished it yet.... there are no pickups..

if you read the description ;)

The bridge pickups (piezoelectric one's) are fantastic, one of my guitars has one and i can shove it straight into my roland guitar synth....

  • sweet man, i wanted to build my own acoustic les paul with a piezo saddle pick-up...and i just may when i have the money

  • it looks like he hasnt plugged it in and like its not finished but idk :S

  • good!!

but i think you need guitar rig for amplificate it on your pc

    !!

  • so when are the pickups and electronics getting put it?!

  • ouch, oak is pretty heavy. but still kinda neat that the piano was reborn as a guitar!

  • bad ass now u only have to put pick ups on it and an imput cable that is hooked up to the pick ups. 5 stars

  • sorry the comment wasn't complete XD hahaha a guitar made of a piano I've never think about it XD

  • Um... sorry. My last comment isn't for thid vid. ;D

  • I fought i will see a piece of art... not this toilet-paper-shit-construction!

  • nicee

  • i want one!

  • were are the pickups

  • They haven't been fitted yet.

  • i wana know how to make one.... :)

  • Take an old piano, cut it to the shape of a guitar, stick a neck, trem and some strings on it and your good to go.

  • lol i dont have an old piano

  • Just use some thickish wood to do it then XD.

  • @bbig1 Now all it needs is couple of Dimarzio Humbuckies, Floydrose EVH paint job and thats it, But still i dont understand which part of the piano was thick enough for the electric G. Any how good one. . .

  • nice. pickups are missing

  • Could you be any more stupid?
