Holy fuck !!! I've been looking for this version for years! I was totally blown away by that bit at 1:05 and I remember I had an mp3 of this song back in 2000. But then my harddrive went to hell and I was never able to find the track again cause I kept searching for Eternity by tiësto or Armin van Buuren and that never turned up the right one. But finally, after 8 years, I've found it... under the the name of ALIBI!!! Like... wth. How was I supposed to know :( But here it is, so it's all good :D

Am I the only one seeing this soung as a perfect blend between their styles ? The way I see it , the first lead belongs to Armin - it`s as cheerful as his other tunes - then the transition to Tiesto`s lead is easily made - a darker and more melancholic lead than the first one . Not to say about the leads "fighting" each other from time to time . Personally , I think the tune is epic . Who knows ... maybe they`ll have another "alibi" in the future ^_^ .

Nevertheless, it's far better than 'trance music' released nowadays. A true dutch trance classic.

I've seen some people refer this music as "Classic Trance", but I don't think it belongs in that sub-genre. Sure, it's a classic, but to be classified as "Classic Trance", the has to be from before 1995 or at least have that feeling of those tracks. A typical example is Humate's "Love Stimulation", which sounds rather familiar to this.

Granted trance will never be what it once was, but like all Genre's of music some of the best songs in the world are in Sub-Genres that break off from the norm.
