Douay and RSVce: unbeatable. I got rid of my feminist NABRE when I found out just how perverted the text was. Maybe in another 20 years we'll get a serious version of the NAB when the liberal translators die off.
Nice video. Is this Bible approved by the Church? The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops didn't list it on their approved translations list online.
I shall never declare more than one spirit, by giving a response 'And with your spirit'. Never shall I. It would hurt Jesus. One body, one Spirit in Him. Amen
@WayOfTheMaster454 Apparently, but the idea is to be one body, one Spirit with Christ. I know this because I say it at mass each week. It is my Lord's Spirit I welcome, worship and wish to take up residence, once one's own meager spirit is set aside.
The Old Testament title page has a big error on it. All the info about when it was translated is true of the New Testament, not the Old. The RSV Old Testament was released in 1952, not 1946. The New Testament was released in 1946.
A.D. means Anno Domini (Year of Our Lord) btw, not After Death. It marks the birth of Jesus not death. Jsyk. Looks like a great Bible though, I have the paperback red one. Not as fancy...
@Link0126 You 100% correct, and I know that, I had a blonde moment, and I knew I made that mistake after I finished uploading.. but.. I wasn't too worried. I found it as something I could laugh at my self at. Thank you for catching it, hope you got a good chuckle as I did! lol!!

@Skyethur Its nice for my computer, I have an App on my Android phone for the bible too. I think the bible is the only physical book I love to read in my hand and not digital. But its nice to have it on the computer as well and on the go!
@CatholicApologia yes me too i prefer bible book because you can carry it anywhere unlike pc where u need to be close to an outlet.. but the electronic ones is nice because when u want a specific verse u can just find it just a snap..
