  • used to love street figher 2 in the early 90's.. used to live at the local wog bar..

thanks for this upload it's awsome to see that Streetfighter is still kicking, might have to go down to a acracde when i get a chance and have a looksy.. peace

  • hey mate, can you give a list of arcades that run ssf4 AE please

  • Man thats awesome.. I would so totally go to local tournaments - at the moment the nearest arcades are a few hundred miles away so I'm kind of screwed. Theres nothing like playing in the flesh as it were.. Melbournites - get ye to Fight Night!

  • Fighting game communities...not cocky.

    Riiiiight.

  • where is this arcade located?

  • @TheKnightJay Time Out Arcade in Box Hill, Melbourne.

  • Great video. I'm from the U.S., but I love seeing different communities getting together especially at the arcades. I would definitely like to check this out if I ever visit Australia one day.

I have never seen an arcade with that many AE cabs. I did go to a Time Out though, when I went to was when I visited my family in the Philippines, but all they had unfortunately was a lone T6:BR cab.

  • LOL @ CARNAGE 04:32

  • You forgot to define "Free".

  • This music man... porn video ftw

  • and that guy at the counter at the end, he had been there for a long long time :P

  • box hill timeout.. good place!

  • Wish Malaysia had this interest in fighting games. Heck the only thing we have thats decent is tekken br and sf4 not ssf4. I would so love to live there thanx for uploading this

  • @DawnOfSinz No problems man. Thanks for viewing!

  • good to see the other side of the coin in the FGC , not all complete dickheads that you wanna take a bat too.

  • Box Hill Timeout... TRUST!

  • Awesome

  • he's so right about the brisbane boys. i'm from sydney and i went to SS2k11 and in ssf4 teams we encountered a team from brissy called the 'maties'. i never laughed so much versing these guys, they were making jokes on us, making jokes on themselves and just havin a good time. good games maties - we'll get our revenge soon coz we lost hahaha.

  • Oh how I wish I was in Melbourne. I tried the Sydney community, but as X said, most are arrogant or unapproachable.

  • Ali's statement is true.

I reckon a terrifying amount of ACL/MLG players are cockheaded, spoiled brats who just sit in their boxes and talk shit over XBL/PSN instead of showing up to LAN events.

I wish the FPS community was more tight-knit and organised more LAN events like the FGC. It's not just a problem in Australia either. I rarely see community-run LANs in America outside MLG events. Maybe if they did that instead of talking rubbish on Twitter (-_-)

  • Sadly, we here in Melbourne, FLORIDA have no action to turn to.

    All alone...

  • its really awesome what you are doing, keep it up. good luck.

  • @RobCardIV thanks dood! nice to be appreciated. Just my way of giving back to the stuff that's given me so much entertainment

  • I patrol my comments thread like a dictator. All troll comments will be removed and thank you to the people that defend against them. If you want to make sweeping statements and ignorant comments, you should have turned up to Shadowloo Showdown, beat Poongko, and maybe THEN we'll listen to what you have to say. Till then, keep adopting that stay free attitude to life.

  • HE HAS THE GENJI GLOVES ON!!!

  • @aznc0ffe388 Way to be a free kid and give the FGC a bad appearance

  • @AtgWarHead lol what are you 12?

  • @AtgWarHead I as a Halo 2 player kind of agree with you. SSF4 is noob friendly but there is still a fine line between good and bad. People that mash and do unsafe stuff you just need to punish. as for SSF4 not being a hardcore game that's an asinine comment. It has a larger player base then Guilty and BB put together. SSF4 is a hardcore game but If you think its "too easy" then why didn't you go to a tournament and blow up a sponsored player?

  • Damn I ain't see one shuffle. loool

  • @hustler6t9 Oh you must be one of those Halo guys he spoken of. Welcome to fighting games, where even trolls like you are treated right.

  • @opop123 ohhhhh fighting games thank you for you pleasant welcome ohhhhhhhh.

  • Nice! Now I can got to Melbourne to shuffle and play SF all at the same time.

  • SSFIV.COM

  • Godlike. Shadowloo Showdown was awesome too, really opened my eyes to how awesome the FGC is.

  • good stuff man

  • 4:53 makes me want to dance

  • Ali is one muscly man

  • nice thing to get the people to play, honestly i dont feel shy playing at that arcade since im a beginner after what you said

  • I see Ross :D

  • good stuff.

    saw myself in it rofl

  • @Calwah glade you enjoyed it!

  • is this japan???

  • @Matthew9k Nope! Melbourne, Victoria in Australia.

  • ali we still need to do our dinner match son!

  • LOLBOXHILL !

  • Oh how i wish Penrith NSW, had a solid community.

  • @DeAtHAiMeR It will soon enough! Don't worry. All it takes is just a few motivated individuals to get the ball rolling. Perhaps you could organize something!

  • "They'll take you under their wing and help you out" yea in places like California, but in the east coast if you don't know how to play they'll laugh you out of the arcade before you can even drop your coin in the cabinet

  • @StreetTrooper Ah, I see. Let's hope that changes. If esports is to make it big, people should help one another. Not offering advice and tutelage is just a sign of insecurity on the community's part imo.
