You said that fasting is from sunrise till sunset; actually it's from dawn (Athan al-Fajr) till sunset (Athan al-Maghrib).

there is a door called Ryan for fasting people to enter from it in heaven , fasting mouth smell is better in allah sight than Mask, all adam deeds are for him except fasting as AS Allah rewards specially for it, 3 will have their suplication responded : the oppressed,just ruler & the fasting , have suhor as it is a blessing & Allah & his angels pray for those having suhoor , have breakfast quickly & delay suhor , in Ramadan hell is shut, heaven is open ,devils chained & sins expitted -Hadiths

I hope you are adjusting well... I know it can be a bit difficult in the beginning, but don't get discouraged, insha'Allah. After a few days, it's generally much easier :) Best advice: load up on water!
