it may appears unreal but about 14 or 15 yrs ago i was to the horse race and there was a horse named the barricade and just bout 10 minutes before the race begun they put this song and i play the horse with odds 99/1 and it won that day . :)))

I listened to this and more Great Eighties when I was a teen then. The music from then is better than today, and that's not being biased. It just is. It was artful labour, it took effort, and the result, like this soundtrack, speaks for itself.

Reminds me of my very youth during the so called "yap" age. I was indeed part of it in advertising as a young art director. A money money age. Party and work around the clock. This beautiful song bring me back to my best and finest memories of the time. It´s almost royal. So different from Wham, DuranDuran and the likes. Spandau was something different, they had a style of their own. I also had a soft spot for The Stranglers "Golden Brown" Hot, sensual beat. Two different styles. Love them both!
