I'm impressed by ZippCast, looks just like classic YouTube. I joined YT in '07 after years of watching videos. I came to accept the current channels after being forced to convert, now they're changing again, enough is enough!

I cannot wait until ZippCast works out its bugs and glitches and gives YT a run for its money.

its not the same as the old youtube.youtube had red not blue star ratings,the video bar was differnt,the ending page showed 2 videos and it said replay,and share.the old youtube homepage of 2006 and 07 had more to it. still sticking to zippcast

In fact, Google has decided to change YouTube so much that in the coming months it will have little to do with what it used to be. Keep in mind the YouTube is a "service" and is paid for through its advertisers - NOT the people using it. It could give a toss what the users want...rather how much the advertisers will pay.

The will listen to us only if several hundred thousand users leave.

@peacefriendsmusic It's not even just that. Google is out of control now and these new policies are the last straw for me. Surely it's only a matter of time before you'll have to give your phone number. I remember last year when they refused me access to my Youtube account until I opened a Gmail so I wouldn't be surprised if I was faced with the same thing over my phone number one day. I've already opened a couple of channels on Zippcast and I'm hoping it'll get bigger.

Join up, but please be patient while they sort through all the problems. Donate if you can, because they offer us something much better than tombtube does. Everyone's helpful and friendly over there, so please give it a try, and ask members for help to ease the burden on the zc crew as they work on the problems, and they're only occurring due to the masses that have joined in one week. It's youtube of old,but better and it WILL keep getting better, if we're all just patient.

@ModifyMyLife They never have closed - just upgraded. It seems everyone can see the major fuck-up coming from YouTube in March...everyone but YouTube. They've decided that we needed something new so everything will change from  March to May. Zippcast is doing want it can with little money by upgrading and adding a new server. YouTube will still have plenty of users to embrace the new changes but ZippCast better take out a bank loan for more servers...there's a flood of new fans comin'.
