@craig9843 Hey, it's arranged by Dan Coates and is from the piano book The Wind Beneath my Wings. It's a great song, the chords are a little tricky at first, but it's such a fun song to play that the hard work is worth it!
Hi, was looking for a piano solo to sing along to and loved your version. your piano has just the right tone and I love the way you play. I sent it to you - hope you like it. Please will you tell me your name so I can put it on the clip. Cheers.
This was excellent! I would say even better than on the Color Purple. I am not a musician, but you did jazz it up, put a twist of blues, a touch of Vaudeville and yes I agree one can also hear the classical touch. Smashing; now that's entertaining. Keep it up, I would pay to hear this. Definitely!
Sounds like the sustain peddle is held to long but good, your timing is good you don't need to have one chord wash over another. Also some dissonance you put in was really nice and a few of the melody notes you harmonized up were great as the listener will hear in their head the original and your harmonization nice.
wow good job! I've always wondered what that song sounded like, but was too lazy to learn it. Right now I'm learning, From A Distance, Over The Rainbow, Separate Lives, and You Raise Me Up
*Hums like Shug* Hmmmmmmmm....hmmmmmmmmmm...mmmmmmmmmhmm
