Yeah they were rope christmas lights. I used big ice chunks as a tunnel to feed it through then poured water over it to freeze them together. Unfortunately the lights broke this spring :( But it was definitely worth it!
@tehKoreanKiDavid They can but here is a great tip: If the snow is fluffy, you should put a little water in the snowmaker to make the cubes a bit more sticky and solid.
