I've got nothing against Severus/Lily, or whatever, but I think a far stronger love in the series is Sirius Black's love for James. Yes, I know he's married, and I know they're bullies, but there's just something so sweet and tragic about Sirius being in love with James. :)
James seems like a !*?£% ill be honest- and he got the girl; until the 5th book he was the good guy, then it started to get shifty around him after the pensive incident. Took 1 chapter to turn Snape from the bad guy to the good guy; and he really was- best character in the book by far; annoying he never got appreciated!
Just a reminder that even fiction cant escape the idea of an unfair life!

I was hoping that Snape would have survived and talked to Harry about why he was so angry at Harry and how his love for his mother motivated him - having Harry just looking at memories seemed the easy way out, but of course this is only my opinion. I also think JK wanted Harry to face Voldemort alone in the end - it was too predictable and I was disappointed at the ending, personally I wanted a final confrontation between Snape, Harry, and Voldemort,, but again, this is only my opinion.

i think that severus wasn't a romantic person but he was fallen in love and he always will be. i think that he didn't bought flowers for lily and didn't create lyrics for her but he had smth good.that love (not romantic but lasting forever) was the most beautiful,pure thing in his heart.

I always supported Severus and lily's love even before Rowling made it canon. And I hope they may find some peace in the afterlife and consume their untold , tragic love. Severus Snape has always been a hero in my eyes, he was the best, purest and unselfish man on earth. Thank god that we have some artists who can draw such a lovely pictures!! Now about Mr Snape, How did Snape gather courage to saw past James' faces into Harry's eye-Lily's eyes?? In his whole life he could not differentiate between Harry and James. Whatever you guys say about Snape being great and all but it was not the expected adult behavior on his part to have loathing for James' son. How can he assume that Harry would not get anything from his mother?
I think it'd be easier to think of how he is James' son and feel the hatred versus thinking of how he is like Lily and possibly being crippled by the sadness the memory of lossing her would bring. When he is gonna die he may want to see Lily once more and since no pics are available, Harry's eyes (which resemble Lily's) are the next best thing.
I love this...and I'll admit it did make me cry. As did the death of Severus, I mean, it hurt most to admit that one of my favorite characters killed another of my favorites.
when i read how snape looks all the time at nagini (in the room where voldemort kills him), that was the point where i became suspicious again about snape being one of the good guys after all

i think that severus wasn't a romantic person but he was fallen in love and he always will be. i think that he didn't bought flowers for lily and didn't create lyrics for her but he had smth good.that love (not romantic but lasting forever) was the most beautiful,pure thing in his heart.

I always supported Severus and lily's love even before Rowling made it canon. And I hope they may find some peace in the afterlife and consume their untold , tragic love. Severus Snape has always been a hero in my eyes, he was the best, purest and unselfish man on earth. I still love to think that between Severus and lily there's been something more, that just Sev, refused to show Harry. Death is nothing for a love like this. Beautiful video/song, I'm crying ;_;

I always loved Severus&Lily pairing, they were my OTP and thank you JK Rowling for this amazing gift as "he prince's Tale". Snape is my favorite character ever and their story is so tragic and beautiful, I hope they lived their love,hiding or in the afterlife. There are some loves even death can't destroy ♥

This video is great! Snape was my favorite character, and I was shocked at the way he died (not putting up a fight, showing how brave he was, but all alone in the Shrinking Shack!) - but this video with this song is what really made me cry! Poor Severus...

Thank god that we have some artists who can draw such a lovely pictures!! Now about Mr Snape, How did Snape gather courage to saw past James' faces into Harry's eye-Lily's eyes?? In his whole life he could not differentiate between Harry and James. Whatever you guys say about Snape being great and all but it was not the expected adult behavior on his part to have loathing for James' son. How can he assume that Harry would not get anything from his mother?

I think it'd be easier to think of how he is James' son and feel the hatred versus thinking of how he is like Lily and possibly being crippled by the sadness the memory of lossing her would bring. When he is gonna die he may want to see Lily once more and since no pics are available, Harry's eyes (which resemble Lily's) are the next best thing.
