Mine is a 92' with 188k miles on it, needs paint job (Aqua Marine Pearl), needs hand brake cables (one ripped), has after market intercooler with piping, and just an xs manual boost controller, missing passenger side molding and driver fender needs to be replaced, runs strong, but also has exhaust stud missing so there is a leak.

I paid $3k for it. I am picking one up this weekend that is skyline blue, stock 91' Turbo, TRD widebody kit on it for $4.5k. I will post a video or pics if you like.

Yet all you guys fail, you will never guess what's under his hood, sure you can try to assume what there is.

But the 2JZ-GTE is a direct Bolt on for the 89-92 Model supras and for the 86.5-88 just requires an aftermarket mount.

Unless you KNOW what he has, don't assume anything, as it will all be a secret sleeper to you.

supra. the MR engine layout in mr2's is the second hardest to drift in RR being the worst. oh and old supras are wayyyyyy sexier than the new mr2s. AW11's are the best looking cars ever

Yeah, because people totally drift their cars stock. Neither of these cars are really better than the other at drifting "Stock." It's all about how you've tuned the suspension and engine. One is heavier with a front engine layout, the other is lighter with a rear engine layout. Just because you watched fast and the furious doesn't mean the supra is better, and when it boils right down to it, no car is better than another, they all have their purpose. It's how you build them that counts.

there's a whole difference in weight between those two cars. The supra might be a 3.0 inline 6 but its way heavier than the 4 cylinder mr2.

No. The Supra in the video is a 3rd generation Supra. Which is a MkIII, or mark 3.

The engines that were available in the US for the MkIII Supra were the 7m-ge and the 7m-gte. In other countries the MkIII Supra were either 1jz-gte, 1jz-ge, or 1g-gte.

The MK3 Supra in this video does not have a 2JZ unless it's a swap. Even in Japan the MK3 never came with a 2JZ, only 1JZ. The MR2 has a turbocharged 2 liter 3SGTE or a 2.2 liter 5SFE and the Supra has either a 7MGTE(turbo) or 7MGE. Both the 5S and 3S are inline 4s and the 7Ms are both inline 6. Assuming this video was shot in the US then without mods the MR2 has either 200 or 135 BHP depending on the engine. The Supra either has 200 or 232 BHP. I hope that clears it up.

Dude. The 1987-1992 Supras had a wide variety of engines available for them. Trust me, I own one.

The 7m-gte engine is a single turbo 3.0 offered in the US. The 1jz-gte was a twin turbo 2.5 offered for Japanese and UK Supras. And the 1g-gte was also available.

Not to mention the fact That a 2jz literally bolts in to the 89-92 Toyota Supras, as well as the 87-88 Supras using BIC mounts.

So unless you see what's under the hood, it is a mystery to you.

not to drive period, you can get your L's at 16, then red P's at 17, then theres green P's at 18, and carry those for 2 years and by 20 years old your allowed to get your full license. but here for p platers, you can drive turbo cars or v8's or anything. Australia SUCKS :<
