  • I made a remix to rack city which is not really what I'm about, but I hope to start making music like Nas, Jay-z, Jay electronica, j cole, you know, send a message about society... it's funny, my nick name is Jaymez, so I can join the list of great J-rappers, and everyone one else i've idolized... but anyways, give me a listen please!

    - True realigion.

If you like it, please tweet/like/sub/spread the word! thank you!

  • real rap, mainstream rap,its all music, sit down, shut da fuck up and enjoy it

  • Fight Night Round 4 !! ;)

  • I hear people saying 'Jay E will save hip hop' or 'Jay E is exactly what hip hop needs' blah blah. I then propose a question unto them: How come? He hardly puts out material. His album was 'done' last year in fucking July. There's no supposed release date and he is deathly quiet about everything! I had faith in him when Exhibit C dropped. Now I'm not even checking for him. Dr Dre did that to his fans and now when we hear 'Detox', we all chuckle. When I hear Act II: Patents of Nobility, I laugh!

  • Jay transcends hiphop

  • im trying toi boycott the radio @clemmis

  • and by him i mean lilwayne

  • im a rapper not a perfect one but i can kill him

  • why it not on the radio

  • @gocash05884 I"ll tell u why cuz kids want that young money bullshit man i dont think kids will ever know what real rap and hip hop is but dont get me wrong there are rappers who will kill wayne but they dont have the air time like wayne for example if u cut the radio on u will here so much young money and im tired of the shit . u feel me

  • Mike G's version brought me here

  • Tyler, the Creator = Hip Hop's Devil

Jay Electronica = Hip Hops God

  • Jay is the future. As long as niggas like him and myself, continue doin this, hip hop will never die! Check me out!

  • @cjgrayer According to his Wikipedia page "In July 2011, Jay Electronica posted via his twitter that his debut album, "Act II: Patents Of Nobility (the turn)," was complete." I looked for the album & apparently its yet to be released. He's probably just tryna ink the right distribution deal.

  • @MrDonJuanMarco He's on Roc Nation, I don't doubt for a second that his album will have ALOT of samples, spoken word, speeches and all sorts of elements that will need to be cleared, which takes time and money. I think 2012 will be the year for it. It must be with reason, this guy is not an ordinary artist, he makes calculated efforts and they must be precise to have the right impact. Jay is most likely organising a marketing plan for him, and I think only good will come of it.

  • Jay can spit

  • @cjgrayer What happened to this guy? Did he just fall off?

  • @cjgrayer fall off is thrown around too much hes signed to Jay-z and the album is being mastered last I heard which was a month or so ago.

  • The 10 who don't like him don't know hip hop the illest out. So suck a dick and get a glock.........kill yoself pussybooty.

  • WHO THE FUCK WENT IN ON THIS.....THOUGHT IT WAS CASEY VEGGIES.... IT'S BUGGING THE FUCK OUTTA ME. HELP ME OUT

  • 10 dislikes? 10 people have NO taste in music.

  • anyone ELSE notice that if you listen... the thing that REALLY ties this song together is something that at first listen you don't hear... the echo is delayed through the whole song... it's literally 2 words late and put on such a low volume on a lower level that it supports it PERFECTLY... i'm just sayin, if this niggah is THAT sick and intellegent to do THAT he's beast ;)

  • this nigga should drop a collab album with jay z. that shit would be so epic. lyrics will make you go insane. i still dont understand why he dont wanna blow up and he's so lyrical. i rate him 100%. respect to this cat. #ROCNATION all day

  • @TheGazathug20 he dosent want to sell his soul

  • FIGHT NIGHT !!!!! ahahaa

  • Jay Electronica NEW TRU HIP-HOP

  • Yeah, Jay Electronica is amazing.. I love new hip hop, in a sense.. but this is where it's truly at.

  • this track is fucking amazing, i think jay has the potential to be the greatest that ever did it

  • @fucka95 Of course, you're entitled to your own opinion. But you're trippin

  • @Starstruck215 the key word being POTENTIAL

  • God damn, he's so ill. Jay Elect for president. Such a pure MC, it's refreshing to see. Candyman, Candyman, spit me a dream!

  • they sampled this song from Jamiroquai Canned Heat

  • @fmp408 Unfortunately he signed to Roc Nation. They dont deserve him.

  • @sbautista8732WID Whats wrong with that,J. Cole is with Roc Nation and he is one of the rappers out right now.Be glad he isn't with YMCMB or Maybach Music group.(Everyday I feel bad for Wale)

  • dat blow your brain kurt cobain..

  • Elzhi needs to do a track with Jay Electronica. Those two MCs are the most underrated in my opinion as of right now and I've heard a myriad of MCs.

ONE BE LO is coming in at a strong 3rd, his latest album was AMAZING.

  • people what we are listening to here is real hip hop

  • the only thing wrong with jae electronica is he got his fame a lil to late hes almost in his 40s

  • @dmdpro5 age dont mean shit. tech n9ne is 41 or 42 n hes jus gettin big maintstream attention now n hes been rappin since the 80's

  • @lager5002 the difference is tech n9ne has his idependent thing going on and jae electronica has a major deal do you think lil teenagers and females are gonna buy a jae electronica album

  • @dmdpro5 if he gets play on mtv or the radio deff. if they played this on the radio right now there would be so many ppl askin whos this n they wanna hear more etc

  • @lager5002 be real now, you think they would play this on mtv, the radio yes on certain stations, but mtv naw. he would get played on bet before any other channel

  • @Muziq103 no not at all. i know they wont play him on mtv. but im saying if they did he would be one of the most famous rappers out there. like tech n9ne he got play on BET 106&park n then his leave me alone single was on mtv n look at him now..its nots impossible for it to happen but its also not very likely itll happen for jay

  • they play this in kentucky????

  • He looks like Keanan from Keanan & Kel

  • just copied jay z in the beginning

  • @Richard10Wayne so he used a line or two, so what. Many rappers have done it.

  • @TheCityofgood yeee i knooww

  • @Richard10Wayne ok, but what were you trying to imply? the way you framed your comment almost seems like it was the opposite of a compliment.

  • @TheCityofgood just showing that he has respect for jigga

  • @Richard10Wayne Oh ok. gotcha.

  • Thanks for the support for the comment I left earlier. This weekend I sat down with some cats and we talked music. When I mentioned artists like Black Thought, Electronica, Andre 3000, and Lupe being some of the best lyricists niggas looked at me like I was crazy. This just made me realize how people in Kentucky are stuck on rappers who hide behind outstanding production. Somebody had the nerve to tell me Rick Ross was at the top (lyrically). What the fuck happened with this new generation?

  • @YoungJeanius nah i first heard this on one of the trailers for the final season of the boondocks.

  • @YoungJeanius i agree many people like the corporate bs they hear on the radio instead of looking for the real hip hop like the origins nd how it all started....yea some of the rappers on the radio have good rhymes nd such but i believe more people like music they can relate too....not hear bout bitches, money,or cars....you know what i mean bro?

  • @YoungJeanius That's just it I guess, people don't necessarily want dope lyrics in their music. To paraphrase Soulja Boi; Lupe talks about stuff that people don't really understand, he isn't really very fun to listen. Whereas guys like Waka Flocka, Gucci and to a lesser extant William. Jay Electronica and Mos Def are dope when you're in the mood for deep next level stuff, but TBH I listen to Lupe if I want to fall asleep.

  • @YoungJeanius ross may not be the best lyrically but he bodied john lol

  • whats good world.. my name is DaQuan, im inspired by real hip hop similiar to this track.. u should peep my video blog called EpicThought.. imma young lyricist tryin to share my passion.. check me out, my first installment is called "Ms. Anonymous" i add new pieces monthly.. peace

  • havent heard flow like this since young kanye west

  • @Doggie3342 Wasnt that all consequence?

  • @Doggie3342 lol wtf

  • Jay Electronica is the only in this century who keeps old skool rap real

  • If I die, bury me with a boombox playing jay elec.

  • CHECKOUT MY VERSION - ILKAN ALI

  • 1) Blu

    2) Jay Electronica

    3) Lupe

..my favorite rappers of this generation.

  • I just can't stop listening to this.

  • Hip hop Lives!!!!!! Thanks to Jay. I found someone equivalent to Jay Electronica Jay Electronica vs Dese (upper echelon).

    Amazing cant determine who's doper

  • where have i heard the bars at the start b4 shall remain anonymous

should like a jay lyric but what Song damm

    ive i got bad memory

  • @MrAloo14 Dead Presidents, the first one, not Dead Presidents II, which was the song you heard on his debut album Reasonable Doubt, punch that shit into the youtube search bar

  • why can't this reach to 2 million views or so ? SMH

  • And to think, one of my college professors told me he didn't see any purpose for rap/hip-hop music. Music of this magnitude stimulates my brain more than any college course I have taken. Maybe I will introduce him to Electronica, Lupe, Andre 3 000, Black Thought, Talib, Common, Phontae, Reks, Mos Def, Stalley, and countless others, seldom heard on Kentucky radio stations, who might change his opinion.

  • @YoungJeanius How about this to blow your mind, brother:

A society that exists without money can only exist when everyone in it fears the Lord. By this fear of the great Spirit, God, men will live as brothers, women live as sisters, and over generations of doing so, there will be birthright.

  • @4dOp Why should I fear God?

  • @ScoobyBBS Fear God, because God is the one who creates all nature and the weather.. is not a child who has seen the power of an earthquake not shaken to the core?

But also love God, because God always loves us too.

  • @4dOp God sure doesn't love Japan.

  • You cannot define things for anyone...Who the hell are you?!

  • @witness623 Joseph Miner, Bayside, New York, come see me I'll tell you about the world.

  • @4dOp neither of you defined what/who/is God. tell me dat. 504.

  • @4dOp replace fear with respect

  • @4dOp why should you fear something thats omnipresent god is just another name for creation

  • @ScoobyBBS you should think for yourself. If god wanted you to do otherwise there would be no free-will. Don't let others tell you to think or act more like them. Fuck 'em. Opressing the mind and suppressing one's individuality and ideas is a more powerful form of opression than slavery. As long as we turn away from that concept of indivuality and turn towards letting other try to manipulate us and try to influence our choices we will remain no more free than slaves 200 years back.

  • @kurdtkobainrocks I agree buddy, just seeing what this person would say. I never understood the whole 'Fear God' saying. I would never want any of my children to be underneath me for their entire existence. I would want them to grow, and eventually become more than myself. If God loves us as his children, I would suspect he would want us to thrive beyond modern comprehension.

  • @ScoobyBBS "If Christ came back today there is one thing he would not be ---- a christian" - Mark Twain XD yep

  • @ScoobyBBS Jesus said, Luke 12:5 "But I will forwarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear Him, which after He hath killed hath the power to cast into hell; yea I say unto you, Fear him" he also says, Luke 12:4 "And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do." I didn't get the Fear God thing either until i read that. I thought it actually meant to be afraid of him.

  • @YoungJeanius Thats another reason I Refuse to support the radio. its creating a false image that all Rap is about dance moves and gettin money. People need to listen to the MC's you put down before they judge the Genre and realize alot of them are activist wearing the mask of a rapper

  • @YoungJeanius your college professor never heard Public Enemy, and has no right to be 'educating'.

  • @YoungJeanius Completely agree wit u..just cant believe u didn't mention nas

  • @YoungJeanius good list exept for lupe. that nigger is wack.

  • @jayM0b how so?

  • @YoungJeanius for once, i agree with every rapper someone put on a list. may have left some out, but better than putting some dumbass in the mix

  • @YoungJeanius Won't matter. Just like their professors didn't see any purpose for Little Richard (Rock 'N Roll). It's generational.

  • @YoungJeanius thats the industry,,, they like pushin us out there like we all ignorant, dangerous animals, vanity, and sudo american terrorism u kno tht old shit black man gonna rappe white women and steal ur shit or possibly kill u

  • @YoungJeanius How could u forget J.cole

  • @YoungJeanius

You're trapped in Kentucky too? I hate this hellhole of a state. Anyway, Jay is brilliant. Period.

  • @YoungJeanius stfu

  • @YoungJeanius *rap/hip-POP and hip-hop* just sayin, theres a difference if you think about it.

  • @YoungJeanius you from kentucky? where at in kentucky bro?

  • @YoungJeanius

Hell yeah!!! I'm feelin this comment. Coming out of Purdue c/o 97 (old head), got the same garbage from professors, peers who didn't come up on hip hop and folks who didn't care for the people who represented rap. Long live the lyrics!!!

  • @YoungJeanius

if this challenges your brain, you need a new one.

  • @nem700 ... he said STIMULATE, not challenge. Maybe YOU need a new one.
