There is a difference between saying that the Deftones sound like Duran Duran, and that Duran Duran sound like the Deftones!

Duran Duran may sound like other bands, but the Deftones did not exist when they wrote and recorded 'The Chauffer', think about it.

I do enjoy the Deftones, and some of their covers could be said to be better than the originals.

i loved this song when "Cars" did, i love this cover, you have to relise that weather the artist intends to or not, when thay cover a song, if the individuel consumer has never heard it, it will intise them to look up the origenel, an that can bring sales to an artist thay may not have been getting hits, so it works all the way around.....:::DEFTONES!!!!::::
