As for the guy in the doc "Eat the Sun", he did have some eye damage, but NO symptoms. Who knows if he followed the protocol. A safety precaution would be to check the UV rating (weather.com) and keep track of sunrise times (national weather service). Make sure the UV rating is zero and only look at the sun during the first hour after the sunrise time. I do it as soon as the sun rises. I'm up to 8 minutes and I feel more alive than I have for years.
I began sungazing on Aug 26th. Love it. Feel great! Years ago I read about the Tibetan farmers who did this. I wanted to try it, but didn't know how. HRM has presented a method. Who cares if he has eaten food. Your body will dictate whether it needs food or not. Since just about all indigenous peoples of the planet were doing this for thousands of years, there must be something to it. An interesting site to visit is Gene Savoy's site. Wow!!
"At one point, he had his eyes examined at the UCLA's Jules Stein Medical Center. The examination revealed that he had burned his macula, a small and highly sensitive part of the retina that allows people to see detail and perform tasks like reading." - The results from the guy's experiment in "Eat the Sun"
The sun is an intelligence, like a life form but elemental, and by entraining with it's frequencies you are communicating with it. It has much to teach about nurturance, light and healing.
Guys... The Sun knows how to grow toothpaste. Human beings don't really know how to do that. Listen to your Father. The Sun knows how to live off of light. The Sun knows how to feed bigots to keep them healthy... There you go. Have some sun... know everything. Go ahead and have some Sun.
@CostaRicaCommune sorry about that, the video is already too long and I had to make edits where I felt they were appropriate. Plus, there have been very little scientific studies about sungazing, so there is barely any "proof" at this point. It's all about following our instincts and trusting in ourselves right now.
I reached eight mins and 20 seconds today) The first few minutes left me a bit tired and with a headache. Cigarettes also taste awful for a few hours afterwards, which is a good thing. Definitely more calm has come to my life, but dont expect an easy ride, some detox symptoms are to be expected emotionally and physically.
pretty good tho that your eyes are healthy!!! i started this, but stopped when i saw the preview for "Eat the Sun." i am still hesitant, but at some point, when i feel more confident, i truly do feel compelled to start gazing again. with a uv index of 0, it seems completely safe, logical and beneficial to me...i'd rather stare at the sun than a computer screen ALL DAY EVERYDAY, which is what i have to do for work. if anything, i hope that sungazing can help soothe my eyes from work :)
@dynamicdimensions that dude from eat the sun was not smart about looking at the sun. You can clearly see that he looked uncomfortable at times. If it's not comfortable, don't look at it. Go slow, safety first. Try it when the sun is really low, when it's orange. It's super mellow.
Just cause your eyes where good when you took the test doesn't mean that they don't recive damage. You should probably get your eyes tested a couple of times with a time span of few months or so in between the tests.
Peace man. I want to do this for well being and vitality. I'm in Chicago. Can you sungaze at sunset/sunrise INSIDE? it's sub zero freezing and i don't live by soil. Please let me know if you know.
@Jahrass7 Hey Jahrass. I have always suggested and been told to look at the sun with bare feet on earth. This enables us to ground the cosmic energy of our star and bring it down through our bodies and to the earth. It is like completing a circuit. But it is always best to be self referral and see how it makes you feel without grounding yourself. There still will not be any UV rays so it will not damage your eyes. You want to be grounded but don't let that stop you from trying it
@Jahrass7 no, you can not sungaze inside. all the light particles do not come through the window, and yes it is important to have bare feet on the ground (not concrete or rooftop) for the connection of energy to the earth.
Thanks,,,,,especially your closing line = ahh the Close Line...!
