The cross was not about risking anything, it was about divine justice. You have broken the laws of a perfect God and just judge. Because of his righteousness, He must punish you; his wrath must be satisfied.
Hell is the place God sends all lawbreakers and Jesus warned us about it. He doesn't want that anyone should suffer eternal damnation, which is why He gave his own life as a sacrifice.
If you will turn from your sins and trust in Him, he will save you. If not, you will burn!

I always feel weird when someone makes me realise what a sinner I am however just as gratefull to know what a gracious God I have that forgives me for being just that. Keep up the good work.
