  • Actually soy isn't so good for one's health and neither it is for Earth, as it needs a wider surface to be grown and lots of water.

  • i took the vegetarian challenge-and one thing ive noticed-i dont snack like i used to-eat one to two apples per day-high in fiber-i am regular today-a gr8 feeling.i like this veg lifestyle-and my body thanks it as well.

  • thanks for sharing

  • Sounds like the reader had difficulty with / put a lot of effort into over-enunciating the source material, which sounded very unnatural. Also, since most of the reasons are health-related, it seems a better priority would be a "whole foods challenge". I'm a vegetarian, but I'll be the first to point out that many more health benefits come from first eliminating refined sugars and processed foods from the diet, with eliminating meat (and dairy) coming after.

  • wish i could be there

  • #14is not necessarily true .. there was a spinage and lettuce scare in 2010 because field workers were not washing their hands after using the bath room . also soy is bad for men because it has estrogen in it making men less manly .

  • 90% of the fruit sold at Organic Grocery Stores, nearly all Nuts, and most all Veggies are not found in nature (in abundance). Paleo fruits were not sweet -- the banana you see today did not exist 200 years ago, even 100 years ago. It is grown from tissue samples and cannot reproduce.

Fruits in nature are very scarce -- most berries and come out once per year.

Without Slavery and Big Banking and Militarism the Agrarian Age does not exist neither does most of it's produce.

  • Veganism is the totalitarian absolutist replacement for religion -- it's a fanatics replacement of religious fanaticism. Hitler was a vegan and so was Gandhi -- both extremists.

  • @OctoBox lol ..Osama bin laden , Saddam Hussein' almost all the jihadis and talibanis are hard core non vegeterians ..gandhi was simple human being..he preached non violence which is a perfect state of mind for a vegeterian...(dont know about hitler)....it seems u dont have a clue of what ur saying..

  • @nirsuj -- Monsanto now controls the food crops in Iraq -- they produce primarily grains and soy products. Slavery and Militarism did not come about unti the "agrarian" age -- the age of grain. Same with banking. The basis of the Arab diet is not meat -- it is grains, beans, starch, and flour -- they are poor people and eat a non-indigenous diet.

  • A raw vegan or fruitarian gets "healthy" at first by elimination of toxins. But then begins to digest stored proteins or healthy fats -- pretty soon bone loss and hair gets fragile.

You just can't escape the fact that humans (NOT ONE GROUP OF HUMANS) were ever vegetarians -- Not one culture, at least not during most of the agrarian age and definitely not before then. 100,000 years of paleo evidence suggest what mans diet was. Medium activity is enough 2 miles of walking per day.

  • Victoria boutenko is low exercise 100% raw greens and fruit. She is over weight now and looks un-healthy. Raw meat is easy to digest -- by the by. Meat digests well as long as its not combined with starches or cooked dairy. Grains - legumes - coffee beans cannot be eaten raw -- we do not possess phytase and cannot digest it. Indigenous cultures put those foods through double fermentation then cooked them to make then digestible. Interesting an herbivores 2 to 4 stomach does the same thing.

  • I was a raw fruitarian for 2.5 years, a raw vegan for 2 years, an 80-10-10 for 4 years, an 80-20 vegan for 4 years and a 70-30 vegetarian for the last 8 years. I was 250lbs, now on chicken, fish, and veggies (very little fruit) down to 225 and skin is toning up.

Look at Victoria Boutenko -- she's the queen of raw foodism, all the old raw foodists (25 years or more) look old, fat, and wrinkly.

The oldest peoples on the planet all ate meat and fermented milk or fermented high meats.

  • That is a lie -- There is NOOOOO evidence that Vegans or Vegetarians livinig longer. Why after 20 to 25 years have all of my Vegan friends (some being raw vegans for 10 or more years) did they get Ovarian Cysts?

Vegetarians are not "slimmer" -- I was a vegetarian and raw foodist for 20 years and when I started eating fish and chicken again I went from 250lbs to 223lbs. I cut out all starch, beans, grains, and potatoes. I eat only greens, fruits, chicken, veggies, and fish. Lots of good fat.

  • @OctoBox It is common-sense veg food is always easier to digest ---Now if the food gets digested well..that solves most of the problems, It is indigestion which leads to sluggishness, dumbness, fatness and hence unhealthy--ness . Non veg on the other hand is definitely easy not to digest..but has a lot of proteins which are good if u work them out..

  • @nirsuj -- When we look back to all indigenous cultures who never had cancer or any modern disease ALL of those cultures were meat eaters -- drank fermented milk and fermented veggies -- they ate eggs and high meats. All of them. White, brown, red, black, and yellow -- they all ate meat veggies fruit and very low amounts of starches and when they did eat the starches (in all cultures) they were double fermented and then cooked. Going back 100,000 years.

  • @OctoBox offcourse...but did u ever check the level of activity between 100,000 years and now..it has almost reduced to 90 % ..nothing ever happened because it got properly digested,,due to high activity levels..now all that happens is it stays back in our body and turns into cancer and research has showed that cancer producing agents are non veg ..hence people are turning to veg because..even if u dont workout ...least that would happen is it wud get converted to fat but no to cancer..

  • @nirsuj -- Actually everyone who gets Osteoporosis or Rhumatoid Authoritis is eating a lot of processed veg food (starches, flour, grains, and legumes -- coffee beans). Also, everyone who gets cancer is NOT on a greens, veggies, and fruit NOR a greens, veggies, fruit, and free-range meat diet. They are EITHER high starch (grains, beans, flour) vegans or high starch (grains, beans, flour) meat eaters. The commonality is always the same.

People still living on indigenous diet have no cancer.

  • @OctoBox So basically we should be against processed veg food products and not veg in general...if u have a proper diet including cooked veg balanced diet +fruits and minimal exercise..+non veg at times..that will take care of ur health off course considering the time and the amount of consumption.. ..problem with non veg diet is if u consume it ..u need high level of activity in order to digest it...hence its very logical less riskier to consume veg and staying healthy..than the other option.

  • Thanks

  • Thanks!

  • muito bom

  • good video..

  • 8:animals are going to die weather you eat it or not

9: ur meals will taste delicious... eating a hamburger is so yummy...

12:if there whier no animals to feed the grain would stop being produced...

or for another reason.. 13: toxic sprays on our vegis and fruits..

14: your telling us to eat fish and chicken.. foodborne illness still occors in that.

19: stupid chinese fishing out everything 22: going vegi is very hard to do.. i tried it about 4 times already

  • im here to counter some stuff..... 1.people eat to much meat and clog thier arterys... you can eat meat.. just dont overdo it.. 2. you will not save money buying fruits and vegis... all the healty organic fruit at my store is SO expensive.. for a small order or vegis is is expensive enough to feed my reg diet twice as long.. now this vid said you should eat fish... my god fish where im from is bloody expnsive.. "vegitables help purge chemicles from the body" and they spray vegis

  • i got to say.... right now im eating loads of bacon... and im drinking a fruit shake i made... theres no way in ever im going vegan... if i dont eat meat for acouple of days i get sick.. and eating vegis all day makes me sick....

  • cool! thanks for sharing it

  • since when was meat bad for you ? , i eat healthly , fruit , veggies , meat with barly any fat on , fish is also great for you , you need protein to live , all those animals are gunna die anyway and meat is lush too ya know

  • sorry mate . i just love MEAT! XX

  • THANK YOU VERY MUCH I WILL TRY THE CHALLENGE .. I UNDERSTAND THE IMPORTANCE OF NOT EATIN ANY MEAT , I DO LOVE SEA FOOD.. UNFORTUNATLY I AM IN CALIFORNIA AND WONT BE ABLE TO APPEAR @ THE EVENT UNLESS I TREKK WITH ONE WHO IS ALSO GOING FROM CALIFORNIA...!!! ..FYI.... HAEV YOU HEARD OF THE CHINESE SCIENTIST WHO IS CONVERTING HUMAN WASTE INTO A BURGER PATTY BY ABSTACTING THE PROTEIN OUT OF THE HUMAN WASTE AND MAKEING IT EATABLE ..INTOA HAMBURGER WHATS THE FRIES MADE OUT OF.?.!!!

  • i love being vegan :)

  • 7 years of old age or meat? hmmm sounds like a simple choice to me

  • will people stop sending me videos like I care about this

  • i dont think i can ever give up my meat

humans are omnivores for a reason

  • @joealtair3000 - I didn't either and the moral superiority of many veggies/vegans can be off-putting, but do the research yourself: that meat is killing you and a whole lot of people in poor countries whose cost of staple grains is becoming unaffordable. Once you see what a chicken nugget really is, what hamburger really is, and all the irradiation, additives, cloning, and genetic splicing that your meat is made with I believe you won't want anymore either. Consumers mean nothing to producers.

  • @abe2517 just cos i eat meat doesnt mean i eat junk food

i know whats in a nugget, hamburger etc and all meat is bought raw some of which i see being killed and processed into sizable bits (pork chops etc) for eating

I eat real meat not that processed crap

  • @abe2517 i meant all my meat is bought raw sorry

  • nice video, great :)

  • @CrazyTwitchGurl You're ignorant. Nations that consume the most dairy have the highest rates of osteoporosis. Milk does a body very bad.

  • Comment removed

  • @CrazyTwitchGurl He cant be vegan and eat goat cheese, vegans eat NO animal products and your example is anecdotal at best. Its like saying meat eaters cant be normal sized because i know this fat guy and he eats meat. Calcium is rich in many vegetables, the problem here is you have been feed that nutritional propaganda that milk is the only way to get calcium. What about non pastoral groups of people did not have calcium deficiency , You really have to do the work on this before comenting

  • good video

  • I don't agree you have 22, as many arguments you have mentioned can be argued in the same vein you have used for meat.. But it is definitely a healthier option, if people are aware of all their nutritional requirements and which fruits, vegetables, nuts and grains to get them from..

  • @rattymanx I so agree with you bout all of this

  • #14 - you must have missed the recent e.coli outbreak caused by bad bean sprouts in the EU earlier this summer. Please don't SPAM my youtube account.

  • Great vid! I subbed

  • GREAT. THANK YOU , FOR SHARING!!!

  • ola!healthful food.

  • 95% of our soy is genetically modified. NOT good...I am for everything but the soy suggestions here.

  • You may want to do some more research on soy, some soy is healthful some soy is not. Food in its raw form I feel is the most healthful for our bodies. All the research I have done seems to point to the fact that animal protein is not as good for our health as I was led to believe. It in fact harms the body more than helps. There are much more preferable ways to get protein. Eat whole organic raw foods, live well.

    Health, Happiness & Much Love

  • @comicozy87 don't buy into the 'organic meat' marketing hype. Its all the same shit run by greed.

  • I love all fruit and cerials but I dont really like many vegetables and i know I must eat more. I don't really eat meat much but if I do its usually chicken.

I hate ppl killing animals also and I'd starve if I had to kill them to eat :)

I wish I could come to ur Chicago party in 13th August...it's my bros birthday so i'll probs be partying with him =D

  • Very nice video. That is good information. I have to change the way I eat.

  • thanks the video i very like it, because i eat vegetable everyday..i subb to support our planet..

  • I agree !! Thx !

  • I admire vegetarians and vegans but I couldn't do it my self. With smart, meat eaters, buying organically and locally are the best and smartest choices. Same goes to vegetarians. Buying foreign foods actually increase your global foot print and non organic veggies can increase health problems because of pesticides.

You can eat what you want but be smart about it. EAT RIGHT

  • Very Nice! Thanks for sharing.

  • Anybody else get this as a forward? :/

  • I know someone who gets hot flashes....

  • Wonderful video and information, thank you for sharing. Blessing of peace and happiness to you always. *+*

  • good vids you have....we all have to give it up..

  • nices

  • very nice;) thanks for sharing

  • Thanks for sharing this!

  • CooL VID Thanks

  • @HornetFellow Just wait until you see the hardships that will arise soon in the U.S. Better get your garden going now while you can, because supermarket shelves will be EMPTY. Oh yea, they passed a law about gardens.....how we can't have them unless they're approved.lol The U.S. government doesn't care about your health, so study other cultures (and American vegetarians), that maintain a vegetarian diet, and see the difference in health. Have you seen how the animals are treated & slaughtered?

  • Thanks for the healthy invitation! Quite interesting!

  • yes i vote to be vegetarian but stop with producing soja beans they take much space and the jungle wil be get wasted if you want alot of soja you have to know which vegetable has proteine and use that dont start with soja products and a very good video.

  • "thank you for this video, vegetarians vehans and frutivores,is the real people what hafve more chance to survive more years and get the posibility to MUTATE TO SUPER-HUMANS......

    sr jesus super star

    "vegan-frutivere universal specimen"

  • informative:)

  • One of my main reasons for going vegan is preventing the horrendous abuse and torture animals suffer in slaughterhouses. I haven't eaten animal products for almost a year and I not only feel much healthier but also more connected to animals.

  • Great video.

  • nice Vid , keep the good work going on !!

    5 of 5

    greetz

    wUtPrOpFeN

  • Vegetarians & vegans can get their protein from legumes, calcium and B vitamins from fortified soy milk, and can avoid pesticide treated crops by buying organic at local farmer's markets or even some supermarkets. :)

  • @janeschilling "JUDIASM NEVER WAS, IS NOT NOW AND NEVER WILL BECOME MONOTHEISTIC".~~~JORDAN MAXWELL Meat eating is like putting tattoes on ones body, only a fucking maggot would do such a asswipe activity. p.s. The bible and koran are for subhumans, only a fucking fool would read such boring dogshit

  • Great information

  • really its a greaat video¡¡¡¡ i think so much about that¡¡¡

  • GO VEGAN!

  • Really very important and great video, fantastic job.

    Uli

  • you got me thinking.

  • right advices...

  • AWESOME VIDEO!!

  • they have made a investigation a lot of vegtable or fruit importers rise their vegtables or fruits with : hormons ; sprays ( to kill insects ) and sprays to let grow the vegtable or fruit faster. they make a just planted tomato to a grewed tomato in 24-48 hours. the onlly healty vegtables/fruits are the organic ones and these aren't cheap. At least in belgium.

  • a human beeing must eat at least once a week : meat or fish or chicken becouse you need the proteins . and nothing can replace it .

  • HEAR THAT MEAT EATERS LIKE A FEW DAYS AGO THEY FOUND DANGEROUS SALMONELLA IN GROUND BEEF.vegetereans rule

  • Good vid for the most part. Soy is not a health food. Most of the soy & corn is GM, these days. Animals still die because of farming grains & veggies. Farmers are allowed to shoot & kill way more animals than hunters. I have seen the huge stack of bodies along side fields. Farmers to this to try to protect their crops.

  • The Vegetarian Challenge! Great video!!! Thanks for sharing!

  • I like this, but her voice is so annoying/boring. .______- I'm trying to go vegetarian but when you don't have a job and still live at home. It's hard. I'd rather eat veggies then meat.

  • Okay so I'm a PROUD vegetarian and I really wanted to watch this but her voice just BORES the hell out of me.

  • thank you , great VIDEO

  • @bob75ify we didnt climb the food chain, we just happen 2 have aposable thunbs and bigger brains. and just bcuz we rule the food chain doesnt mean that we hhave 2 make animals suffer! stick that in ur juice box and SUC IT!

  • Thanks for the invite! You are a joyful, loving, caring, friendly, inspiring spirit. You are a helpful, compassionate, creative, giving spiritual being.

  • Thanks for the invite! You are a joyful, loving, caring, friendly, inspiring spirit. You are a helpful, compassionate, creative, giving spiritual being.

  • Since you sent me a message here is my request. Do I get to hunt and eat naturally raised animals running free in the wild? They are arguably natures protein source and I do have sharp teeth genetically made to eat them. I am pretty sure they don't have pesticides and no one can complain that they were tortured because until the day the predator (me) found them they were roaming free. Veggies for breakfast and elk and fish for dinner. Good plan.

  • I think fear mongering and lieing should be illegal. Food born illness e coli and salmonella have been regularly link to our vegetable supply. Pesticides are produced for vegetables so that argument makes no sense. Our bodies are designed to process both meat and vegetables we are omnivores so most of your arguments are just wrong and misinformed.

  • Beautiful articulation in her speaking manner! Interesting content.

  • Thank you very much for sharing this video!!!!!

  • Thanks for sharing this useful video. I agree and follow your suggestions

  • can anyone point me to a source that proves that we use such a huge portion of our produced grain in order to feed animals?

  • The information about Circle 4 Farms creating more waste than Los Angeles with just 2.5 million hogs was shocking.

  • Color is your #5?

    Compassion is #8?

Tasting "Delicious is #9? Where as those same foods wouldn't otherwise right?

    Color and compassion..........really?

    # 16&17 lead to the same end.

    The national dept?!?

World hunger? seriously lady, you can't blame meat for that, hell the number one reason for world hunger is government corruption. Walk into Somalia and tell them meat is why the warlords are hijacking the grain shipments, see what happens.

    This is a scam

  • I really support vegetarism, but I live with my parents and they force me to eat meat. I had a challenge last year at summer, all summer I hadn't put meat into my mouth, then I felt that I must be a vegetarian. I don't want to eat dead animals, but my parents are against vegetarism. Well I hope one day I will move out and eat what I like.

  • @Rututu1991 just take it easy

  • sehr lehrreich das Video Udo aus Deutschland

  • take out the soy and the grains and then you really have something!

  • omg 34 very idiots....

  • @erkanutazo

    Very idiots?

So they're idiots for disagreeing in your mind?

  • @Skybaby79 thist video is good and 34 idiots vote negative....

  • @erkanutazo

It's full of inaccuracies and fault hoods

Let me guess, you missed them all.

  • @erkanutazo

Typical Rastafarian, you're all sunshine and rainbows till someone doesn't share your beliefs

  • @Skybaby79 mmmm typycal rastaman yessss bob marley ??? :)) haha up rastaman ,help idiots ignorant : ) bye bye

  • i Love vegetables! :) and meat as well ;D

  • Thanks again for your so interesting and informative videos, always welcome.

  • You SPAM too much!

  • @Maroontimes81 Check out 'The China Study' on vegan diets. I've seen some solid-looking criticism of that study, but it's comprehensive and thorough. Obvious reasons are that vegan diets contain no LDL cholesterol, and little saturated fat (though you'd have to avoid heavily processed vegan foods for that). I'm not an MD, so I find it hard to conclusively judge based on studies, but I'm vegan for ethical reasons so health isn't my main concern. I do know that I'm healthy and feel fantastic :)

  • animals cause pollution,so if we eat them, we save the planet from that pollution, continue with the natural food cycle and keep the population of the animals that are bred down which also will stop pollution. i don't understand what you mean by eating things that create oxygen to save the planet. :\ everyone knows we were built to eat meat. i eat fruit and veg too tho,i'm healthy. its not like i eat mass amounts anyway.there r lot of skinny ppl who eat meat. i eat lots of veg with my meat. :)

  • :)

  • LOVE YOUR VIDEO THANKS FOR SHARING:)

  • Interesting video.

I eat alot of fruits & veggies as is but I also include some meat like chicken, fish & turkey in my diet- no pork (devil's meat) & very little beef.

I try to eat as close to a Kosher diet as I can.

That being said all the pesticides, irradiation & genetic modification being used in the food industry nowadays almost all food is contaminated on some level.

Let the farmers farm and the growers grow without Monsanto ( a very evil wicked company) dictating their rows!!

  • @GabsLiz yeah it was interesting to know;P but i'm never gonna follow this;D

  • thanks for shared. this is awesome video with great information. but i'm not agree with vegetarian life style. people need protein to live healthy. live with good vitamin supply is more better than vegetarian life style. to be vegetarian it's not guarantee you will live healthy. as far i know hitler is vegetarian but he sick.

  • @GrendalHawks2 There's loads of protein in vegetables, especially in beans, and in grains, nuts and seeds. You´re right though that a vegetarian diet isn´t necessarily healthy - you could live on potato chips for instance :D However, it's entirely possible to be completely healthy as a vegetarian. Fruit, veg, grains etc are packed with vitamins, you can get all nutrients you need from a vegetarian diet, and the only thing missing from a vegan diet is B12, which you can take as a supplement.

  • great video :)

  • Am Vegan, and I love uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!

    5 stars video *****

  • Ain't I glad I'm Vegan.

  • Love it !

  • the only meat i eat is fish and chicken... Haven't touched pork or beef in 4 yrs... Anyone know any good veggies as a source of protein? I am into weightlifting and would like to cut out chicken as well ...

  • @Gtrplyr1 whole grains, especially quinoa, beans, buts, lentils are all very high in protein, many of them as high as meat. If you eat dairy and eggs, there's plenty of protein there, too. If you go veg - or even just cut out more animal products than you do now - you can easily get all the nutrients you need, but do research some research on vegetarian nutrition to make sure you're getting it right when you get started. The vegetarian society website is a great place to start. Good luck!

  • @Nephtys80 thanks for the response, much appreciated, will certainly look into it :)

  • @Gtrplyr1 errrrrrr, and I meant nuts, not buts :D :D :D

  • @Nephtys80 :) i did'nt even notice... guess thats worse hehe

  • Thank you very much!

  • I have 22+4 reasons not to take vegetarian challenge... here they are;P we are born to eat non-veg! we are born to eat non-veg! we are born to eat non-veg!! we are born to eat non-veg! we are born to eat non-veg! we are born to eat non-veg! we are born to eat non-veg! we are born to eat non-veg! we are born to eat non-veg! we are born to eat non-veg! we are born to eat non-veg! now you tube is not allowing me to complete my 26 reasons;D i hope you have understood the other 15 reasons;P
  • @31Aseem I agree and your comment was real funny xD Still, it's interesting to know, don't you think? Have a great day/night, whenever you might read this :)

  • I'm addicted to red bell peppers,(I eat them like apples) I love most veggies and fruits. I don't do eggplant, and turnips but the rest is all good......

  • all vegies isnt goog for you eather. doesnt mean we cant star eating more greens I know I should. but fuck all that polution noise & health problems is a small part of national debt.
