The Golden Globes this year had one of the most viewers. I doubt people tuned in for hours just to see predictable winners and the typical awards show spiel. They tuned in because Gervais is hilarious and knows how to appeal to the audience, not the butthurt millionaires that DESERVE to be made fun of.
