@chalklava He did occasionally smile during the FB3 era, including in this video, but mostly cos of the wacky music I guess. Personally, I love that look btw, reminds me of a decade I miss a lot.
I remember The Swinging Laurels asI used to see one of them round town alot the bloke with the kind of goatee think he's the one on the left great days and memories.
excelent. getting stuff like this into the pop charts. just wasnt happy comfortable family listening. brilliant.

Isn't it funny that stuff from the 50's was better video quality than the stuff from the 80's. Great song by the way, but terrible lip-synch job!

@ISawRed123 Yeah, kind of makes it hard to take his deadpan expression seriously when he looks like that versus Specials era Terry, huh? lol.

Love this song, and I think Terry Hall is really cute in this video clip. I love the way he looked in the Fun Boy Three days. :)

Only Lynval knows how to play this song - and he won't tell anybody else, not even the rest of The Specials. Genre-defying.

After I first heard this on TOTP2 on Dave, I just can't get the rhythm out of my head, and the sax part.
Brilliant song! I'd love to share with my mates at school but they'd think I was crazy. But who cares? One of the FB3 songs ever!

Mr Birtles is a Leicester sax legend. This must have been a great laugh. Did Terry Hall ever smile?
