I think any team would miss Fabregas. But in both Ramsey and Wilshire, Arsenal have players more than prepared to make such incisive passes.

And lets not forget, there have been as many players miss Arsenal FC when they decide to leave as players we have missed. They come, they go....

I still annoyed that Arsenal allowed both Clichy and Nasri's contract to reach their last year. It's an invitation for the player to run down his contract.

Also a great team goal. Although Scholes couldn't tackle to save his life, over the last 10 years, he was one of the few Manure players that I would have loved to have seen play for Arsenal. Giggs was another one. Neither Utd or England have replaced him.

I agree that Bolton had given the game up as lost but "not trying" maybe a little harsh. There problem was that they thought Arsenal was happy to play the ball around for the rest of the game but, once Vela had made a great run between the 2 central defenders, it invited the ball from Cesc.

I agree that Arsenal need to want to win the league and not just expect to win it by virtue of their better football.

When I was growing up in the UK 50 years ago, we used both football and soccer. The name derives from the correct name, Association Football (to differentiate it from Rugby Football)

People started referring to playing Assoc (from Association) which morphed into soccer.

My distaste for the word is to do with the US adopting the word to differentiate it from "American" football. Sensible on their part but pure snobbery on mine.
