@paragshah2112 It's not Republicans. I was raised Republican & taught to think that it was Democrats who were the root of all our problems. But it's not that either. They work together, though they pretend to bicker & disagree. I once read a small article written by a woman PhD. She said: Think of a coin; it looks different on both sides, but it's the same coin. That's how to think of Repubs & Dems. And they are controlled by the same people. That's why I'm Independent.
@xander7ful Being Independent means and does nothing. The US will always be a too party system no matter if the names change. It takes quite a bit of research of history, law, legalese, language and economics to understand why, but the coin idea would be better referenced to Fascism and Democracy. The system isn't set up to do what is morally right but by executing burdens and whether or not a person is able to lift the burden.
@paragshah2112 It doesn't matter which party it is, they are as bad as each other, it's simply choosing the better of 2 evils. I don't live in the US, so I can't really comment. All I know is whats happening here in Australia, and it's very similar to whats happening elsewhere in the world! It's very easy to point fingers and blame the government and/or corporations, in many ways they are to blame, but we are also to blame, we have allowed it to happen and we can stop it!!
Well, so long as you think you're free, you'll remain "free". It's the allegory of the cave at it's finest.
