Our grandparents were able to work a waiter's job and fully pay for his own schooling...and most of us with a part time job cannot. If students weren't able to loan out to go to school. Proof of full disability is "legally" supposed to qualify you for a dismissal of the student loan debt. That's not always granted, but it's technically there.
