I can honestly say out of all of these bands, Senses Fail is probably the only one that us actually "alternative," because the rest of them are all Pop Punk, or just a different variation of Pop. Don't get me wrong, I am honest to god the biggest All time Low/Mayday Parade/Sing it Loud fangirl ever. I just wouldn't consider their music Alternative.

Although I do agree that these are all quite good bands, I don't grasp that they're alternative... as, quite frankly, most of them aren't. They may not be mainstream, but if you listen, they all sound nearly the same - not that it's bad; it's simply not alternative. I believe the definition of Alternative is unique and different - altogether a new sound. And this isn't particularly new, is it?
