No chain brake, no ear protection (in the beginning), no safety glasses, and reckless use of the chainsaw (I.E lack of respect for it) - great way to take the short straw of natural selection.
@killer4life1000 alright a chainbreak is a the thing right in front of the handle it stops the chain in less than a second and its made to stop the chain when the chainsaw kicks back and is also protects your hand when it slides off the handle if you watch a vid of smaller chainsaws then you´ll see every of them has a chainbreak
Bull fuckin shit real people don't need chainbrakes. Even the best make mistakes. Note though that when that saw was produced they didn't have chain brakes
@socool666420bc pre- nanny state saw... most real loggers don't need chain brakes.. just another stupid "safety" feature that does little good in the real world..
let the saw cut the wood and quit using the felling spikes to try and make it cut faster your forcing it and just boging the motor that way and its actualy causing it to cut slower and another thing your not supose to use the felling spikes for bucking
The dawgs on the saw are for more control when falling or bucking. High cc's saw you use the dawgs to reduce the potential for kick back by dawging into the log.
