Basically the same narrative as the sprawling "Kraftwerk and the Electronic Revolution," (which comes recommended if you liked this documentary), but I enjoyed the new interviews and all the cool footage. Oh, and the scene where we hear Neu! being played over the flowing, sun-sparkled river was simply beautiful. Hats off to one of if not THE coolest musical movements of all-time. And Eno, if you're reading this, you really ought to return those tapes.

They were both burdened with starting from zero and having to create everything themselves, yet also fortunate to have a clean slate and not to have to carry the weight of the past. Their orignality makes so-called "innovation" in American music look like the derived pablum that it is.
