  • I think Phil has a Down shirt on in the video for This Love

  • @Pantera4211 this is true he does have a down shirt on in the cvid for this love and if you look closely at the vid for im broken he goes form a eyehategod to a crowbar shirt and back again member of down jim a kirk

  • R.I.P DIME LEGENDS NEVER DIE THEY LIVE ON FOREVER THROUGH THEIR MUSIC

  • how lucky was that guy to get on stage xD sick video

  • omg i cant believe they brought a guy with one leg on stage then played walk! thats the kinda thing that gets you shot in the head. good song though, does this band still tour?

  • @KatfaceSmith

They splitted up since Dime was killed...

Bob Zilla and Vinnie Paul formed Hellyeah with Chad Grey, Tom Maxwell and Greg Triblet

Patrick Lateman is now Halford's rhythm guitar and started 2 other projects

  • @DarkXa ......I'm pretty sure Pantera split up before Darrel's death. Phil was in Down with...Rex I believe, and he was player guitar for one New Orleans band and still doing vocal duties off and on in Superjoint Ritual. And Vinnie and Dime were, as you guessed it, in Damageplan and uhh...Vinnie was maybe in the process of or started playing in Hellyeah, that I have no clue about, anyways, one of the reasons Gale killed him was something about Dime breaking Pantera...which was and is bullshit.

  • @MusicMaidenhead Nah, VInnie joined Hellyeah in 2006 after Dime's death.

Y'all have to watch PANTERA, BEHIND THE MUSIC

  • @DarkXa Even Phil and Rex both went on record and said Pantera: Behind The Music had ALLOT of things wrong, and didn't even cite references, so it's not at all trustworthy.

And the band didn't split with the death of Dimebag Darrel. The band split when Phil started work with Superjoint Ritual and was in the pre-works of Down, and Vinnie and Dime had no response from Phil, so they went ahead or further with Damageplan and Pantera sequently stopped playing shows altogether.

  • @MusicMaidenhead Down was formed in 1995....

  • Your right, Down was officially formed in 1995, but bear in mind I said "pre-works." Down was alive before 1995, just not officially releasing music or playing live gigs.....like a streak of jam sessions.

  • @KatfaceSmith Dimebag was murdered so they split up.

  • @KatfaceSmith Dimebag was indeed killed..... actually shot in the head.....

  • @KatfaceSmith When Dime was killed the band splitted

  • 2:25 YEAH!

  • i remember that like it was yesterday, made the trip up from maine worth it

  • great job of covering phil man

  • 13 people missed the "like" button

  • oooooooooo fuck I hated myself for missin this .

  • rex brown should have been the bass player

  • woohoo damageplan playing "walk" i prefer phil's voice back on the studio version than this guy's voice but the music aside from the singing still kicks ass

  • luv this shit!!! R.I.P Dime. classic

  • Dime loved his fans and showed it like no other as you can plainly see in this footage! That guy on the crutches has a memory that he'll never forget and that is what Dime and hell, the rest of them understood. R.I.P Dime, you set the standard for others to follow.... Peace

  • bet ol' boy still got that stupid grin on his face.....

  • so appreciative of there fans, wish there were more bands like this,

  • I hope dimebag is playing it up with jimmy rhoads and other guitarist.I hope gates is getting raped by saten in hell.IF he was still alive i would cut his dick off and feed it too him.

  • is there anymore footage from this show??

  • @pie.go suck a box of cocks.

  • duuude i live so close to moncton i wish i could of gone but i was only like 8 or so when they came..that makes me mad bcc pantera and damageplan are my two favourite bannds

  • sorry but the singer suck

  • PHIL IS MUCH BETTER THAN THIS GUY...

  • And 1 month later, he died.

Nathan Gale, return to the world , so I can kick your ass fucking shit!

  • @aguslokito Nah it was like 7 months after that dude. I was at that show n got to see him before he died. And i know that guy they bring on stage, Huge pantera fan...He couldnt have been happier.

  • this gives me chills. rip dime.

  • please post more of this if you got it!!

  • i would have had tears of joy rolling down my face if it was there

  • its kind of a cruel irony that they played "walk" after getting a one-legged kid on stage. lol

  • @lilbastard3 LOL

  • @lilbastard3 And then getting him to sing the chorus.

  • @lilbastard3 ha yeah!

  • that is bie-far the coolest thing ive ever seen

  • I see Phil finally grew up, I heard he used to be kind of a dick in the early days of Pantera, like to the fans and all. Unless I'm wrong. That kid is lucky though. Wonder if he got a free guitar after the concert. XD

  • @jedimastergarcia87 thats not phil..thats lachman DAMAGEPLAN's vocalist.

  • talk about taking advantage of a once in a life time oppertunity. He's rocking the fuck out. I met Dime a month before he died, and I don't see how anyone could be bummed around him.

  • luckiest fucking one legged asshole in the world

  • respect

  • YEAH!

  • this happened in fucking moncton!!!!! when i was 14 and i never new :'( i missed out on a amaziing concert -_-

  • @pjbuddy123 I was 14 and i was there, pussy.

  • It's just not the same without Philip's baritone growl. Lachman is a good vocalist, but his range is just too high [for me] to hold the same powerful appeal (surely i am not alone in that opinion) as anything that Phil's vocal cords have grazed.

  • im sorry but if you go and listen to the "a new levels" of the last tour they are horrible. his voice is waaay lower then even for him and it doesnt sound even understandable. thats all we would have gotten until phil got off herion. hes off know and i saw him the summer and he sounded vintage. but these videos are much better sounding then anything we would have gotten from pantera live in 2004. atleast hes sings "a new level of confidence and power"

  • the dude brought up on stage must have gotten laid after this show lol

    lucky basterd

    rip dime

  • 2:19 the crowd goes in-fucking-sane

  • just amazing...

  • goosebumps...life long best memory ever for that guy right fucking there

  • Now hes one and a half legged AND deaf.

  • tecnically speaking

THIS IS THE BEST COVER OF WALK

  • actually this is not a cover thats DIME playing 99% of the song :D

  • yeah but it is not pantera performing the song, is damageplan performing the song

  • @diegosolis05 No you got it wrong. Dimebag and Vinnie paul ARE pantera, Just a different vocalist. I know what you're sayin but these two are the guys who wrote the music.

  • yeah i know but anyways walk is a PANTERA song but PANTERA is not performing the song DAMAGEPLAN is performing the song so this is a cover anyway you look at it

  • @diegosolis05 How can you consider it a cover it is Dime and Vinnie throwing down....and they were Pantera not phil.

  • @sofavresogood still isnt pantera so it's still a cover

  • @diegosolis05 don't play with word...without dimebag never pantera would be that great...if dimebag play walk...its not a cover

  • @sofavresogood Pantera was

     nothing without Phil!!!

  • @RomanIlBrasatore Phil was nothing without Pantera.

  • @Toca91 Dimebag was nothing without Pantera too, Vinnie is still nothing!! Patrick Lachman, damn!!! just look at him, he is trying to imitate Anselmo on stage, just trying to move like him ahahahah no waaay!!! Pantera was a perfect combination of fantastic guitar sound and awesome voice!!

  • @RomanIlBrasatore I agree, only if Damageplan had Phil instead of Patman, it would have been better than Pantera, because Dime already started trying out some new stuff... BTW I played a Razorback today 3:)

  • @Toca91 if Damageplan had Phil instead of Patman, it would be not Damageplan, but PANTERA =D

  • @RomanIlBrasatore You forgot Rex :) But I wouldn't exclude him. It would be modern Pantera, new style, more brutal, more agressive. I think they'd hit something like CFH again. Shame Dime left us :\ Really, really shame.

  • @Toca91 Oh yeeeaaah!!! I totally agree with you!! There would surely be a Pantera reunion someday!!! It would be an epic day!!! R.I.P. Dimebag!!! only the best die young =(

  • @RomanIlBrasatore your an idiot

  • @danodell1980 and your retarded...

  • @tterraj and phil was the one who wrote the lyrics. also, without phil anselmo pantera would not be the pantera we know today, just check out how much more brutal pantera got after phil joined the band. Pantera is pantera thanks to all members but without phil it wouldn't have been the same. and also, vinnie just made the drums, and i don't really consider drums music, drums don't make a song

  • @siggerbigger phil is a bitch. If it wasnt phil they woulda found someone else...who knows???..u sure the fuck dont...lol. Drums control the tempo of a song..without a good drummer your band=shit

  • @DimebagSmokeIt yea, if it wasn't for phil they would've found someone else, some else more similar to terry glaze, a glamsinger. phil was a glamsinger too from the beginning, but were much more to the raw side of it. so if it weren't for phil, they would probably still be a glam metal band. and yeah, drums controll the tempo of a song and ofc its important that you have a decent drummer, but they could've done it with any other good drummer. drums just dont make a song.

  • Comment removed

  • @siggerbigger lmao..your outta your mind. Vinnie is one of the best metal drummers out there..you cant just replace one of the best. Phil had talent as well but lost it when he went off with these jerkoff bands he's got.

  • @DimebagSmokeIt wow almost a year since i wrote that. Of course Vinnie Paul is a great drummer but saying he is one of the best out there, nono, he's not, he was a drummer in one of the best metal bands out there sure, that does not make you a better drummer than the rest. I think we have different opinion in what qualifies as the greatest drummer, i think more of technical skill and i guess you decide by the songs they've recorded but then it just comes down to personal preference...

  • @siggerbigger i consider the best metal drummers out there to be bill ward, charlie benante, dave lombardo, vinnie paul.guys that have been around for years and still kick ass not sum new band thats been around for four or five years...Panteras drums are FUCKING AMAZING you cannot say otherwise. LMAO "He was a drummer in one of the best metal bands:". That is ignorant..of course its a a matter of opinion but that only goes so far..to say one of the best is just another drummer is ignorant

  • @DimebagSmokeIt my opinion still stands. Pantera is my all time favourite band but vinnie paul is not by far the best drummer, or even one of them, out there. There are people who are completely unknown in their early 20's whos technical skill is far beyond vinnies skill. He's not at all a bad drummer, but he was not as big a part of pantera's sound as phil or dime. And also, Phil was probably more of a reason pantera is what it is than dime, cause without phil they would still be a glam band.

  • @siggerbigger without phil their sound woulda changed and everyone knows that. Im a lot harder than i was in high school, dont know about you? When i was 16 i listened to alot of shit i think is queer as hell now. Guess its a part of growing up i would assume...the drum thing is over because you just dont get it.

  • @DimebagSmokeIt So you're saying that in general people who listen to some kind of rock/metal grow up to listen to heavier stuff later on in life? When you're in your teens you tend to only listen to the most hardcore stuff and think anything mellow is gay. When you grow up and mature a bit you become a bit more open minded. That's what i've experienced at least, if im a freak of nature for that, so be it. Pantera's sound probably would change without phil but into the pantera we know today.

  • @siggerbigger what i mean is people get older change as does everything else. Peoples personal experience, maturity, know-how, contacts, society all changes with time. Music was more censored then and not as "mature" i guess could be a word to use. Experiences and personal struggles can define a persons music. All that change with time and age. Terry Glaze was a high school friend, not a metal singer. You have to start somewhere and as they got older the music matured as well.

  • @siggerbigger wheres my post?..try this again i guess. Peoples personal experience, know-how, contacts, maturity all grow over time. Society does as well, and chages the way it accepts music. In the late 80s there was no internet, so good luck finding the perfect bandmate you'll never know of since all you had was a newspaper. Terry Glaze was a high school buddy not a metal singer from Louisiana.Vinne and Dime always wanted more than one sound to their music.Wether cock-rock, country, metal.

  • @DimebagSmokeIt Have you ever read Phil's lyrics? The man was a legend, nobody worte or had a voice like him. Thats why it's so hard to cover his vocals if you haven't noticed.

  • @UFAIL1134 Avengeds version is pretty damn close!

  • @bradaman96

Nothing will ever compare to Pantera.

    fuck Avenged sevenfold.

  • @ThrashTillDeth666 fuck you avenged is as fuckin good

  • @deoege get off my lawn.

  • @ThrashTillDeth666 dont hate avenged sevenfold dont hate on fellow metalheads hate all that mainstream shit thats ruining music

  • @TerminalShutdownn

gAy7X is mainstream shit and are not metal. How the fuck do you have thrash in your name and make a statement like that.

  • @Actueel68 dude avenged sevenfold is not mainstream i never hear them on the radio avenged sevenfold is different you cant compare them to any other band there hardworking and dont get everything handed to them so stop hating on them really

  • @TerminalShutdownn

Do you hear Slipknots shit on the radio? Do you hear Metallica's shit on the radio? You don't have to be on the radio to be mainstream. Where are you from? I've lived in the OC when AX7 was coming out, they didn't do shit. They released one good album "Waking the Fallen" and they sign with Warner Bros and fucking sold out to machine made shit. To you this is normal, but to a lot of people here we have our reasons.

  • @bradaman96 No it isn't their cover is shite

  • @UFAIL1134 I completely agree. Phil had a screech, if you can call it that, that believe or not, is insanely hard to do......like head voice, or a King Diamond type falsetto, only adding a complete growl and distort....it's hard to actually achieve that, but there are some artists who mimic it as good as Phil, in fact exactly like Phil Anselmo.....for example, the song S.C.U.M or Weight Of The World by Throwdown. I often consider them a New Age Pantera. and it's beautiful.

  • @siggerbigger actually drums make the song in this case... if you've ever played this song, it feels so empty without the heavy drums kicking with it

  • @DesecratePk this song feel empty without the bass too, its not the drums that make the song memorable. Pantera made this song, so its a pantera song, not a damageplan song. No disrespect to rex and vinnie but Dime and Phil will always be the biggest part of pantera.

  • @diegosolis05 kuz itz plyed bi some of the people made it in the 1st place

  • i love phil anselmo, but i like damageplan very much, lachman gots a nice voice, rip dime

  • fuckin rite i miss that shit i was there

  • how in the fuck fuck did i miss that concert

  • Comment removed

  • this was million times better than ACDC

  • IMO i think pat lachman has a way better sound to give to dimebags playing then phil. Although phil does have some amazing vocals.

  • Dime was definately the coolest person I've ever had the chance to hang with. Did so on a dozen occasions. Everything you hear about the man is true.

  • Its really cool that they let that guy be on stage with them.
