  • might help to be able to at least see what you're pushing on the screen

  • limiter = 190 km/h

    unlimited = 315 km/h

cobb can remove limiter if you have JDM model

  • fake and gay hes on a track the gps knows it

  • Limiter Removal

  • This video has nothing to do with removing the speed limiter.

  • @TwinTurbo916 cobb accessport can remove it NIS-005/006 AFAIK

  • touch again your GTR and will be lost your warranty HAHAHAH

  • NZ limited to ...... Duno probly 200kz

  • I'm sure their is still a way of bypassing the entire on/off thing together..I mean somewhere it would have to be physically connected (hardware) which you could just disconnect or something...

I'm sure if one were to know the right people..you could have it done right...Awesome car.

  • man if i would live in japan , i would hack the computer to get tht limiter shit off. Dont tell me tht its impossible.

  • Well that was exciting

I can't wait for the next thrilling instalment

Setting the time on the microwave

  • Didnt they mention of top gear or something that the sat-nav system knows when its at a racetrack and automatically turns the limiter off.

  • yes

  • i thought that was gran turismo at first....i was like wtf.....

  • JPN limited to 180KPH and US limited to 193MPH

  • Comment removed

  • yes it is to 150mph

  • give me proof (a link to a website) wer it says that u.s models are not limited.!.

  • STFU the us version is limited at 145mph

  • U.S. models are not limited, but Japanese models are limited to 112mph. However, the navigation knows when you are at a racetrack and allows you to disable the limiter in Japan.

  • So US models are not limited at all, like most cars are at 155?

  • Not limited at all. Plus most good cars in the US that can handle 155 mph are not limited

  • the r35 is like an ipod ._.

  • LOl!

  • いいな~ これってローンって組めるんですか?

  • the begging looks like grand turismo prolouge!

  • they paid polyphony to design that cars menu (if you don't know polyphony do granturismo)

  • It is designed by Polyphony. When you turn the car on it shows there logo on the screen next to two other companies I think...

  • i think he meant the beginning of the video, which would be when the guy drove out of the garage and almost drove onto the track

  • damn weres the pride in that

  • damn the greatest car ever had a limiter damn thats gonna ruin the reputation of the gtr how will other people fear it when you have it on the road if it has the limiter its a legendary if a person gets to accident that was his stupidity cause he didnt control himself/herself what happens if a owner of a unit comes a acrooss a super car ????????????? what can it do most people wish to take off the limiter

  • its only the japanese models that have the limiter, the US is all good

  • will us version have a speed limiter?????

    cause many cars DONT

  • lol if anything ive seen japaneese cars with speed limiters you dont think they just top out at 180kms or 160 do ya? lol they usually do this to keep fuel economy and less stress on your engine far as i know all gtrs are limited to 180kms factory

  • no they wont have a limiter, but most cars do, all bmws, audi, mercedes, infinitis etc are all top speed limited, and many other cars as well. a quick scan through the latest road and track or car and driver will show that their most recent road tested car is most likely limited

  • You don't have to be on a track to remove the limiter. You can purchase the VX ROM from Mine's which will remove the 180 km/h limiter and allow you to drive the GTR to the limit. This of course voids the warranty on the GTR with Nissan.

  • i thought the limitors are now satalite activated where if your on a race track then you can do top speed and in us it will be 155 mph on streets and japan will be like 112 on streets

  • lol? BAD nissan for trying to protect the drivers.. PLUS you could always get a new ecu that removes the limiter.. there's already three or four (can't remember) that already did that.. and like they say.. it's not hard to do so.

  • Its a all factory requirement in japan.

    Moron.

  • hurrayyyyyy. i got to see it park. like 1 star.

  • at 23 seconds the guy in the has does a fast lap of the car.

  • eeerrrrrr 180km/h limiters are standard on all imports, 220 set for all aussie built cars.

  • whats the top speed on there with out the limiter on?

  • 190km

  • i thought it was 190 MILES per hour

  • top speed is 193 mph, but speed limiter limits it in japan to 111mph, and in the US to 155mph i think. but, the car is so smart that it knows when your at a track, and removes the speed limiter to get full top speed!

  • the car cant tell wen ur at the track u d**k

the comp he is using is an aftermarket one where u can program in a limiter.

  • no u stupid shit. there's an option where the GPS connects to a satellite and turns off the speed limiter automatically.

  • The New GT-R is Limited to 112Mph as Standard out of the Factory in Japan, The GPS System Removes the Limiter when It detects the Car is within an certain Radius of a Proper Race Track. This is A standard Feature on the new GT-R, its to meet the Strict Japanese Rules with regards to Car Manufacture!

Get your facts Straight you Flange!

  • Really? That sounds a bit like science-fiction ! Those japanese people...:)

  • @PCCJCUP like my honda civic ek3 that i swapped the air filter with k&n filter .... the rest are stock

  • @PCCJCUP thats it?? that's like 118 miles per hour!

  • @9eja3 I think he misread the question or made a typo. 190km/h is what it will do with the limiter ON. Actually its really 180km/h or 112mph. That's the maximum permissible speed of cars produced in Japan.

With the limiter off (or on non-JDM models), a stock GTR does 190MPH.... or 306km/h

  • Very cool!

  • I heard about this. If you drive your GTR to a track the GPS tells the computer to ask you if you want to remove the speed limiter, then if do, you pretty much void your warranty.

  • cool but know i wanna see how fast lol

  • nice tip !!!!!!!!!!!!!! THX FOR vedio
