"where is my father?" so far, the only playable character in the pokemon games to even have a father is the one in ruby/sapphire/emerald - where your dad is a gym leader. other than that, the protagonists have all been raised by single moms... unless their dads are out of the country or something... nobody ever bothers to mention them or ask about them... except i seem to remember one of the moms telling the player their dad used to be a trainer, but that may have been in RSE.

btw am i the only one who's getting tired of them throwing a new normal/flying pokemon into almost every game...and that pokemon almost always becomes the party flyer simply because there aren't that many powerful flyers in the games... how about making a pokemon that's like made of wind or something and then it could be pure 'flying'... because I always remember only 1-3 strengths of each type and the flying type is good against fighting but fighting is good against normal so...
