In the other playthrough, in the parts where you were, you were supposed to be attacked by a swarm of necromorphs. And yes, something was supposed to come out of the ceiling vent. well, i got it first day and mine ran fine, so i assumed. but he fixed it anyway by restarting.,, i assumed it was the disk, cause everyone else who got it first day didnt see this problem, and i assumed it isnt his consol as he got a new one 6-12 months ago when his old one died... but meh, restarting seemed to fix it.

@DemonLeo Older consoles also have problems loading games properly, so the problem doesn't necessarily lie with the discs. For example, I had a used 360 that would have 3-4 minute loading times for a certain game, and the SAME game played on one of the new 360's has load times of 10-15 seconds. The older console also failed to load environments and enemies during gameplay. Last I heard, Seamus got the RROD and got a replacement 360 which might be the cause of his problems.
