When the weights get super heavy your form is not going to be perfect. This is natural. Watch some of the strongest men in the world lift heavy (these men are pros) and their form is not "perfect". Just ensure your workouts have progression and you will make gains.

@SnatchXcizzor Don't put too much emphasis on bulking up. If you want to keep boxing, or do most sports, you need endurance. Usually the heavier guys get tired faster, but the trade off is that more weight is behind your punches.
It all depends on training though. You need functional strength in the fight game, as opposed to just looking good or having big muscles. And especially if you plan on doing MMA in the future, make sure you don't lose your flexibility.

You stance and punches were just barely average. No way you ever did mma. Boxing is outdated. MMA is the future. Boxing is like "uhhh let me swing my big hand over and over on his head and repeat until someone goes down" MMA has boxing, clinch, wrestling and submission. MMA is strategy.

well...if you haven't noticed..boxing stances are a few..there is no catalog of them :D ..man..and I'm no keyboard warrior as you've already seen..Plus, I HAVE been trained in mma..it's just boxing in the ring, it's not mma..Plus my punches are fast and accurate.. there were a few I didn't do good but hey..I'm a MAN , like everybody else :) what's the bloody point of saying all those things that you said. And if you haven't noticed it was my FIRST MATCH :)

@SnatchXcizzor Someone who knows more about boxing would say 'textbook' instead of 'average' stance. For your first match, it was okay. You hit the other guy with some good shots. You took some ripping body shots, though.
I could say, 'you need to do this or that,' but your trainer will work with you on what they think you should be working on. Unless you don't have a trainer, but I assume you do.
I wouldn't be putting up my first fights on the internet though. You could give the advantage away.

thanks man.. I appreciate it :) ahm..I'm more into lifting weights right now..I've put on some muscle..because, when boxing, you tend to be getting skinnier and weaker, and ahmm..yeah, I'm bulking up..but thanks for the advice :P ;)

@SnatchXcizzor Don't put too much emphasis on bulking up. If you want to keep boxing, or do most sports, you need endurance. Usually the heavier guys get tired faster, but the trade off is that more weight is behind your punches.
It all depends on training though. You need functional strength in the fight game, as opposed to just looking good or having big muscles. And especially if you plan on doing MMA in the future, make sure you don't lose your flexibility.
