My wife was born in 1946 at one of these camps in Crystal City, TX after her family's forced abduction from Costa Rica (where they lost everything).
Her dad was German, he mom and sister British.
They were held in this prison camp until 1947 then charged will illegally entering the US (strange since it was the FBI that abducted them and sent them on US troop ships to the US).
Since my wife was a born-American, she was able to stay here.
