actually NO. The 6 cyl is 2.5 and the svt is the SAME 2.5L duratec, just higher output. Sorry, but no SVT ever came from the factory with a 3.0L, they're in the Taurus, Sable, Escape. The 3.0L can be swapped to a contour but there is no stock SVT 3.0L. Check your facts before you start spouting the wrong stuff.

the focus zx2 and the contour all have the zetec (with minor differences) but the supercharger wont fit on the zx2s, the firewall is too close. ideally turbos make more power but you can still do a lot with a supercharger. its a matter of what you(the owner)want. talkin BS is more worthless than bill gates picking up a penny.

Um, no. AZDC made the original turbo kit YEARS ago, back when they were called Street Flight. My friend has the original "test mule" SVT, putting down over 330fwhp, in his garage. AZ Dyno makes chips, yes, but they've also done turbo kits before anyone else, including Nautilus.

the focus zx2 and the contour all have the zetec (with minor differences) but the supercharger wont fit on the zx2s, the firewall is too close. ideally turbos make more power but you can still do a lot with a supercharger. its a matter of what you(the owner)want. talkin BS is more worthless than bill gates picking up a penny.

wow, without proof to back up your comments, just dont say anything. the reason ford stopped making this car was because north americans were not yet ready for a vehicle offering a european ride. see north americans would rather have bought a 3.0 litre engine in taurus that a 2.5 litre in the contour, but what you ae too fucking stupid to realize is that the 2.5 litre duratec engine can suppurt up to 700 horses, but its just a ugly car

A 3l cannot make 365hp without a turbo. Take the Nobel M400, it uses a modified Duratec 30 with TWO turbos and puts out 425hp.

turbo will have to be custom fitted there's no turbo kit for the svt...vortech makes a supercharger kit for the svt engine wit's pretty sweet too

Um, no. AZDC made the original turbo kit YEARS ago, back when they were called Street Flight. My friend has the original "test mule" SVT, putting down over 330fwhp, in his garage. AZ Dyno makes chips, yes, but they've also done turbo kits before anyone else, including Nautilus.
