Just like @TheRobaroba has already mentioned be4 a lot of African airlines had female captains long ago eg Kenya Airways, SAA, Botswana Airways, Air Malawi, etc the list goes on. I am surprised it is a recent occurrence in Ethiopia considering ET is a good and sizable airline. BTW, note that she is on a turboprop and not a jet.
