Very cool! The art was by Cliff Roberts who did a ton of other groovy things - loads of childrens' book and the like. Great! Thanks fer posting!

The beat played in the beginning is very funky for a film made in the 50's. It sounds like something you'd hear in a 70's film. I think the book said it's the jazz score that really steals the show.

This must be the first cartoon Howie Morris ever worked on; it's certainly before his Hanna-Barbera days.
This is the only other place I've seen Ken Mundie's name other than on The Door that he did at Warners in the 60s.
The Blakey score adds a lot to the cartoon.
