  • 1:00 This fight was still nothing in the NBR+ NUR+, but NGR+ NUR+ was a bit more 'exciting'.

    2:30 Didn't know that I found this method of HJ? I don't know if the rules allow for this sort of thing, but I don't exactly care. Not like you missed out on some big challenge. NBR+ NUR+ had lots of camera abuse and evasion whoring in my case of handling the damned Minotaurs.

    NOTE: I think it is lame that the saw can't cut them up at all. That would fucking awesome. Being able to play 'clever' rather than 'skillful' suits my tastes.

  • 27:08 Ah, so you got a feel for getting in hits during his melee as well. It pleased me to learn this for myself. His melee was kicking my ass in the NBR+ NUR+. I had to change things up to stand up to it. Solving the 'Wrath' ability wasn't hard. The balls were only a tiny bit more troublesome (in S4). His shockwaves were a big joke.

  • 35:12 A short video showing off the air blocks and leaping about would be a fine way to revisit this in the future. Most don't appreciate that GoW has an air block that has a bit more 'poise' (for lack of better term) than the ground version (Action games with air blocks don't seem all that common from what I've seen).

  • @BigVEE (Your death) haha yep...I actually after seen your handle to this part...I did a quick run (NG+, since I only had one saving spot) and i got here with BoC at lv.4 and I died exactly as you did...As he falls I ran (roll) to him mistaken the timing and eaten his 3 fireballs ahahha. pretty fun shit that it happened me the same as you and I knew that could happen cuz you spoiled itxd

    Dumbed the system down too much into simply slapping HP away for my tastes. One of the larger reasons I think less of this entry than the rest.

    Wasn't really different for me. Simply noticed I wasn't getting hit.

    (Minotaur) It's the only way if not 'luck' to handle this guy without getting hurt by the archers...and I used t,s,s instead of s,t,s,s (cuz some times you can land an extra 's' hit...and the s3 as you said is stronger than in other games), so sometimes you can land t,s,s,s and that is stronger than s,t,s,s ;)

    (Minotaur melee attack) haha...for me was easier using an 's' between his attack (even if not landed) just to be familiar with the timing

  • @TazOne1 I'd given him some cursory examples of speed tactics, but the lack of interest from others meant no need to keep at it. The finding of IJ meant a lot. The simple HJ was just a start.
