@DRFTmonkeh hahah, youre a loon man..just google "skyline gtr35r"....seems you can order any parts for it that you want from japan.....just because you dont want to call it a skyline doesnt make it right...hell, theres even a Nissan Skyline Gtr35 facebook page..since i cant copy and past links on here, go look a little more on the history section of the nissan page..where they clearly state that its the same car but it dropped the 'tag' skyline.the older and newer cars retain the name Godzilla

@phatrides222000 the R35 isnt a skyline. its chassis is different than the ACTUAL current-gen skyline chassis (used in the V36/G37). and no not all skylines are GTRs.

@DRFTmonkeh well in my opinion, R35 is skyline, its just a next gen skyline, but nissan did not want to name it skyline offically because they wanted it to be a super car, and skyline sounds too tune-ney and ricey :D

i wonder by how much the weight was reduced by switching to rear-wheel drive...

They didn't want to start all over and build a new engine so they used the VQ from the old 350Z. They also said that will work on the VR engine throughout the rest of the year and when it's ready, they will put that back in.

Blitz r35 has the vr38 motor and has been convrt to rwd.
