  • This is so hard for me to watch. I am 24 years old and I have had problems since i was born. Since 07 things has gotten worse and my small bowel just stops. I will be going thru a transplant in Feb it is hard to watch things like this since I know the pain is terrible. Hope everything works out great

  • Thank you for your story. Joel lives forever in heaven.

  • My son was born with a Congenital Heart Defect called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome he has been through 3 open heart surgeries 3 catherizations all before he was 7 months old. He just recently received his new heart. I am so very thankful for donor families such as yours who make the selfness decision to give the gift of life from such an awful tragedy. God Bless You & Your Family

  • Bless you :D

A group of students at my uni presented a talk on organ donation for a class once and referenced your beautiful video.

Changed my views on donation in just 4 minutes. I am now proud to say I'm a registered donor.

The ultimate gift any one person can give is life to another at the unfortunate time of their own passing.

Joey was a sweet heart, may his memory live on xo

  • I am an organ donor, when I go. I have never really thought about what I would do should my children go before me, I always want to go first. But I know I would definitely pass their organs on to a needing person. This video is wonderful. God bless and be with your family.

  • Godbless Joey... Live in Peace.

  • Thank you for sharing such an intimate and painful part of your life with others.

Joey was and is in the hands of angels and our Lord, Jesus Christ. God bless you and your family.

  • It's hard to know the right thing to say other than I am so sorry for your loss. Your video was very moving - you are so brave to tell your story. God Bless you!

  • My niece is a lung recipient and is trying to spread the word about organ donation. If you would like to help, please google her project, "Second Chances" Mobile Organ Donation Awareness (at Member's Project)

    God Bless you

  • What a gift you have given another family - and what a gift you have given all who read the story of your precious child. You have no doubt touched many lives. May God bless you all as you finish out this life waiting for that time that you are able to see your precious angel again. God bless.

  • R.I.P YOUR SON

  • Great video, thanks for helping spread the word on this crucial issue.

  • We have a son with severe short gut and this really hits home ! So many of the pictures look so much like our son did. He has miraculously survived without transplants so far, and we are so grateful that he has been here with us for so long. God bless you for sharing and opening the hearts of all who watch- how could anyone not want to be a donor after watching ??

  • I hope your son continues to stay strong and healthy...thanks for watching.

  • Thank you for sharing Joey's story with us, and for helping to promote organ donation.

A liver transplant saved my sons life.

I will keep your family in my thoughts.

  • God Bless your family. The video is truly beautiful.

  • Thank you...for the response and for watching!

  • My son's life was saved through a liver transplant. God Bless the Donors!

  • That is a tough road...God Bless You for your strength and courage.

  • Well worth watching. I had the wonderful pleasure of knowing and caring for this little guy! Please consider and talk with your family about being an organ donor. You never know who's life it will save!
