Let's at least be a bit honest, the Jews were thrown out of 109 countries for various reasons but the main complaint was usury. In 1290 in England, the Jewish financial elite drove the poor in England to destitution that eventually the Jews were thrown out the country. It was not pork on this issue or the Sabbath (since there were Christian Sabbath keepers in England at the time). The Jews have been the worst offenders of keeping the Torah (see Jeremiah).

@gianboy2001 Actually that came from jewish practice but they only used a pagan day for it because don't forget back in the day there was a lot of tension between early christians and the jews. I will admit, my ancestors were pagans before the times of christ as I am arabic, but we are not still followign pagan rituals. It is only a pagan ritual if you are using it for pagan uses. We use it to worship the one god. The very same that the jews worship.

@captainsunder009 Yes, in a sense when jews we afraid to die so they have to follow pagan rituals. Most christians are unaware of the pagan rituals and I just don't know the judgement of our God. All I know is he is merciful, wise and loving so I cannot judge. I used to be judgemental because my religion teaches that whoever is outside the fold will not be save. And about the books. All of the big, and 'reputable' publishing houses are owned by Jews, and they have a habit of exaggerating persecution against them--a habit that goes back quite a bit. I wouldn't recommend taking them at their word. Academia has succeeded in rewriting history almost completely in order to shed a bad light on Christianity.

What this guy doesn't know about Judaism is a lot. St. John Chysostom was referring to the Jews refusal to do real work. They have never been productive members of the economy. Martin Luther points out their usury also. The Jews also incite moral decay, and provoke in Christians a denial of Christ. They are a hostile minority that's always in perpetual warfare with the surrounding population, and they're always ungrateful guests in the host country. This is the cause of 'antisemitism.'

Some people may be completely devoted to their religeon and there are others who don't have enough knowledge about it or even have a foot to stand on, people are from all walks of life, so the people who don't have a foot to stand on see all the hippocrisy going on, where does that leave them ? I'm not going to say that it was brainwash, I think for the time it was skepticism and the moral/ethical code and scare tactics that messed up the whole equation of Jesus becoming a messiah. For the time he preached righteously, by unto the righteous at the time he was looked at like a bad apple, but why would a person go through extraordinary lenghts to overthrow a hippocrisy, if there wasn't one ? surely people can see through that, right ? So why would God let people live in a hippocrisy ?

Was Christ too unorthodox? maybe this was the purpose God intended , was to be unorthodox? Regaurdless , i think , imo, Jesus being as maybe as radical as he was, it was time for change. If God theoritically said i'm going to give you a new pair of glasses but his name is Jesus what is the problem? What happens if you wind a watch too tight ? I think the devotees of the time were too scared to change, perhaps threatened even for accepting a radical ? Much like saddam over his people.

There is a saying beggars can't be choosers, (to a degree) whether your a beggar or not, you'd be insulting your host by guilt or demand unless you were completely understanding and did not mind having any chicken..which is not the case, in this case your demanding there be chicken..
so you grow spitefull or hatefull because on that day you could not eat chicken, this is like christ, in those days, christ was not the flavor they were looking for, he was a sour taste in their mouths, but why?

So if christ was a leftover, like the chicken full of salt, and the jews did not like any salt, they have a choice not to eat the salted chicken, but they should't criticize the chef just because he liked the salt nor make it a law of some sort to persecute chefs who used salt. I guess it's a question of who is left with a bad taste in their mouth ? if your hungry and you hate salt you went without chicken, not at your expense but at the expense of the host.

If God made supper for you out of leftovers, and he put on your plate chicken, peas,carrots, & spinach, but criticizes himself and says i'm not sure if you will like the chicken I may have used too much salt, it would be an issue of tolerance, some may like alot of salt some a little, and some none at all, so if you were sitting at Gods table waiting to eat, and you did not like the salt for what ever reason, do you have the right to criticize your host for using salt if you are hungry ?
