You clearly haven't got a clue if you think the rave scene is dead - yes a lot of it is commercialised (see new drum & bass, trance, etc.) but there is a fucking huge underground scene still going at it hard.

Jungle has resurfaced (Aaron Spectre, Venetian Snares, etc.), acid/dirty techno (Chris Liberator, D.A.V.E. The Drummer, etc) is still being banged out in squats all over the land and psytrance is still full of hippies throwing parties in alsorts of places from forests to desert wastelands.

I have this tune on vinyl, you house people have to understand.. in 1998, Drum and Bass didn't really have much soul.. well some Jungle did, but not as much as House, but that's is what house is made of, never have I heard unsoulful house.

I honestly like this version better than the original, because I perfer Drum and Bass over House.. and if you can see Grooverider was trying to give this song some guts, not smooth it out, it's in the bass and piano.
