Just to add some info: the "old" voice presentend on the 1st example (anthem 2) is not 100% real, his vocals were heavily edited on those "Chicago Live" videos.

Still, he used to sing a lot better than now. He started sucking with AVA, just look for live videos of Everything's Magic, he sucks and isn't even playing guitar :S

In 1997-1998 ''Dude Ranch Era'' he had an awesome voice, now in 2011 he doesn't has the still voice but he changed his voice when he was in AVA and I think that it's a little hard for him to make his voice like before, but I saw videos of recent concerts in 2011 and I guess that his voice is changing again and I think that he will get an awesome voice again soon.
