That 1st set of gear they show on the Marauder (black jacket with hood up) is not the set that they get, that is what Juggernauts wear. This video was very misleading and i chose a Marauder based on that image. Yes i still enjoy playing my Marauder but disappointed walking around seeing Juggernauts in the the gear that these videos showed.

What the hell happened, I saw clips of this years ago and thought it was ugly -then-, but incorrectly presumed they might actually try and improve them? They don't even have the attractive pseudo-realistic look of the KoTOR games, they're cartoonish, ugly and without proper proportions. Not to mention, as others have said, the animation is downright -bad-. Fuck this shit, somebody make an actual koTOR sequel, there are enough shitty MMOs out there as is.

@asdsafasf3 No it's neither. the combat is in real time but most of the abilities are cooldown (minus the bounty hunter which is more on a heat vent system [Similar to how heat worked in Mass Effect 1]). So you use an ability lets say your basic melee attack. Theres a very short (like one second) cool down. In fact they even added something where you can add the next ability in your queue shortly before your current ability is done. I hope that helps.

@matheuswoww I think by lifeless he means how the characters are standing pretty much completely still exchangning and parrying blows - I'm not sure wether you simply can't move while striking or if the developers intentionally didn't show said combat movement in any of their videos, but if you for some reason aren't able to move and jump around in combat then it is indeed lifeless.

Hitting the air 20" away from enemy's body, stuttering animation of shooting and running during the combat. 'Auto attack' animation in sith vs jedi fight looks like they were handling PVC pipes and tried to slap each other's cheeks with it, occasionally kicking him for more damage or power jumping. Hope they will consider re-animating this game.

@asdsafasf3 No it's neither. the combat is in real time but most of the abilities are cooldown (minus the bounty hunter which is more on a heat vent system [Similar to how heat worked in Mass Effect 1]). So you use an ability lets say your basic melee attack. Theres a very short (like one second) cool down. In fact they even added something where you can add the next ability in your queue shortly before your current ability is done. I hope that helps.

EA and the Founders of Bioware have both stated the cost of TOR is no where near 300 million and is more in the range of 100 to 150 million

@matheuswoww I think by lifeless he means how the characters are standing pretty much completely still exchangning and parrying blows - I'm not sure wether you simply can't move while striking or if the developers intentionally didn't show said combat movement in any of their videos, but if you for some reason aren't able to move and jump around in combat then it is indeed lifeless.

Despite all this insult exchange with that narrow-minded fanboy I must agree with your point on the combat. It looks plain bad. Hitting the air 20" away from enemy's body, stuttering animation of shooting and running during the combat. 'Auto attack' animation in sith vs jedi fight looks like they were handling PVC pipes and tried to slap each other's cheeks with it, occasionally kicking him for more damage or power jumping. Hope they will consider re-animating this game.
