viktor is awesome, early game hes mana dependant if you max his e, instead max his q, pretty much same dmg less mana cost, great harassing tool, get the blue augment, his gravity field sucks if you dont upgrade it, once you do, his range its great, i usually get 2 doran rings before boots for the mana regen, tankyness, and the ap, the rest is up to you, i usually follow up with rod of ages, rabaddons or rylais

he is a good champ.i play him mostly because of its w and e because they are good for supporting the team,especially the stun.ulti is also awesome when casted on multiple enemies you can get even triple or quadra kill or support the team as well.The only thing that i believe that needs improvement is his cooldowns,which during early game are too high.

Right now, Viktor needs a mid game buff. Unlike other AP mid carries, I find that Viktor get stronger late game rather than mid game and late game, Hex Core taking up an item slot isn't worth it.

I love Viktor, I love his skills, his play style, even his passive, but I feel his passive is more of a nerf then a buff, they could fix this by letting you upgrade your core.

first buy is around 800 gives you a small stat buff and full skill buff he gets now, then 2 more levels for each 'tree' of core upgrades each costing more but are more suited for each phase of the game; level 1 for skill upgrade, 2 for mid game, 3 for late.

So you can invest in your core and have 1 uber item if you wanted.

@DJC00K13 Actually Victor is underplayed but he's very powerful champion. Perfect tools to harass and dodge it from enemy. Also aoe stun and great ulti in teamfights. People just underestimate him.

Viktor is a great champion and tons of fun to play if you like AP casters. He can change the outcome of a temfight with his ult and gravity field(if they get caught, the slow and stun makes it nightmarish for the other team while your storm is pounding them. People seem to have a vendetta against viktor because his power augment sucks and and that's what everyone got(all the screenshots/spotlight showed him with.) and never tried other augments. Death and Gravity are superb

Okay Riot, man to man, make gravity field and the chaos storm stay up even if Viktor dies, without this Viktor is useless in team battles if he dies early. Also, please balance the augments, right now i see augment power as useless mainly because with gravity you dont need the movement speed because of gravity's range. With death you gain 40 something AP AND a burn for 30% of the damage, the AP from death goes to Power transfer aswell, gaining a larger shield.

People who wine over Viktor, really have no clue how to play him. You can escape almost any situation, save your team members from ganks, or setup a huge killzone, with your CC alone. You can even build him tanky, having well above 3k hp and still do very high damage with your spells. It's like mordekaiser pre nerf really, just with a cc ability on top of that.

I don't get why so much people are disliking Viktor, maybe it's the way the riot is playing that makes him look weak. While in early games, I get death laser maxed out and get my augment death and he gets really op! He's a great pusher considering how fast he take down minions using death ray or gravity field

Do not buy viktor. This guy is TERRIBLE at 1v1 regardless of your skill level. Only good in team fights. Worth the 6300 IP if you want to hide behind your teammates every match.

I don't know about most people on this,but I play viktor and I love him.Maybe his passive could be better,yes.But c'mon,that laser!Destroy minion waves with one strike,set champs ass' on fire and a cool ass boomerang to go with it.Gravity field has also saved me and my team on many ocasions as well as screw the enemy champs up :)

@armoredvampire Stop getting the red augment and help your team by being a tanky/support mage -_- Death Ray is just a nice poke and finisher but red augment makes you squishy as hell. He's very useful if he tanks a bit with power transfer or use the utility masteries to maximise blue augment.

I think his ult needs a buff. The damage it does can be rather easily shrugged off. I mean sure, it silences and you can move it, but the silence is only like .5 seconds long...

@Molomar1 Yeah, but the inital hit scales with 55% of ability power, and each second it deals an extra 80(when maxed) +24% of ability power. EACH SECOND.

If you have 650ap (which is around full build) your ult will do 350 (+357) + 80 (+156) per second for 7 seconds. that totals around 2359 damage. Taking into consideration enemies will generally have around 25% damage reduction, that's 1769 damage from one ability.

It nearly hits as hard as Nunu's ult. How is that not alot of damage?

doesnt matter, at the end of the game i get craploads of kills with him(usually) so people KNOW who did the damage anyway,insane aoe burst, coupled with a reliable 1-2. At close range, DR has no chance of missing, allowing for a quick burst .With CDR, Q comes almost as quickly as Ryzes Q.

One of my favourite things about viktor is, with the crystal sceptre, his ability to kite. A someone melee is chasing you? His E doesn't require him to stop moving so you can use it to apply your slow. Turning every now and then to Q and keep your shield up. All in all one of the most fun champions I've played.
